Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Eau de Toilette

The original Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream is a simple clean fragrance. It has a coconut fragrance note which isn’t strong but does give the perfume a warm soapy feel which is reminiscent of many bath products.

There is a lot of fresh pear and some blackberry which are noticeable straight away. After 30 seconds the floral heart of wisteria and jasmine notes come through, accompanied by the coconut.

This is a light fragrance; being an Eau de Toilette it only lasts a few hours.

Personally, I think Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream is suitable for a humid climate where you want a simple light fragrance. It’s also ideal for a young person; perhaps a nice gift for a ‘first perfume’.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Forever Eau de Parfum

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Forever is essentially an Eau de Parfum version of the original. It has the same fragrance notes but in a stronger concentrate.

I recommend Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Forever over Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream because it has that lasting power. It also feels much sweeter than the original, with the fruity blackberry note coming through strong.

The wisteria and pear notes are still there keeping a slightly fresh feel but this is definitely a sweet fruity scent.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Blush

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Blush was released alongside two other limited editions in the Daisy range.

This perfume is quite different to its two predecessors. Instead of the sweet blackberry note, Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Blush is all about the floral notes. Freesia, violets, lily-of-the-valley, rose and water lily create a pretty floral bouquet which is accompanied by a musky floral undertone.

Typically people who don’t like the original Daisy Dream do like Daisy Dream Blush.

This is an Eau de Toilette but I find that it lasts better than the original Daisy Dream Eau de Toilette.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Kiss

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Kiss has two fruity notes which are hard to come by in perfumes. Rhubarb and pineapple dominate this fun summer scent. Along with blackcurrant and grapefruit the fruits combine to create a tropical fragrance ideal for a vacation.

There is a slightly floral undertone which is created by freesia, jasmine and a cedar base, but predominantly Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Kiss is all about the tropical fruits.

It’s a super fun scent and would definitely be a safe blind buy for any fruity scent lovers.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Twinkle

The sparkly purple branding of the Daisy Twinkle range make them some of my favourite perfumes from Marc Jacobs.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Twinkle is a super sweet sour cherry scent; very different to the original Daisy Dream.

It comes across as quite creamy due to the whipped cream note. Imagine a cherry and fruit of the forest creamy ice cream.

I think Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Twinkle would work for any time of year, but probably best for the daytime as it’s not quite heavy enough for the evening.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Sunshine

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Sunshine was released as part of four limited edition Daisy Sunshine scents.

It’s a fun fruity summer fragrance; mixed berries, raspberry and a sour cherry note make this feel like a cocktail.

They have also used what is called a ‘solar’ perfume note. This is a synthetic creation which makes a fragrance smell ‘warm’.

The warm fruity notes are supported by orange blossom (one of my favourite perfume notes) which creates an orange and floral undertone.

It’s certainly an uplifting scent which matches its summer name and yellow bottle.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Daze

Probably the flanker which is mist similar to the original, Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Daze is a musky wisteria fragrance.

Perhaps a little stronger on the florals than the original, the wisteria note in here is calming and gentle.

Again, this is an Eau de Toilette so it only lasts a few hours.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Petals

In 2020 the Daisy Petals range was released. These are mini handbag sized versions of the original fragrance.

Given the large lids on the Daisy perfumes, these are a convenient way to carry your favourite Marc Jacobs Daisy fragrance around.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Petals comes in 10ml, 20ml, 30ml, 50ml and 100ml sizes.
