Following the success of the classic Carolina Herrera 212 perfumes the brand had been struggling to release any fragrances which made a big impression. Then in 2016 they launched Carolina Herrera Good Girl. The unique bottle design meant that this fragrance stands out at fragrance counters and people instinctively want to pick it up and see how the spray works. The bottle has won multiple awards for design and the fragrance itself has been a top 10 best seller since release.
The original Good Girl Eau de Parfum is a sexy evening fragrance. It combines a sweet and warm almond, cacao and tonka bean with a strong tuberose and jasmine, with a hint of coffee. It has medium level strengths and projection in my opinion and can be smelt in many a bar and nightclub on a Friday night.
The next release was Good Girl Légère, a softer version of the original with a creamy almost milky feeling.
In 2020 we saw Carolina Herrera Good Girl Suprême released (my personal favourite in the range). I love fruity perfume notes so this one really appealed to me. It’s a less sweet version of the original with forest fruit notes added, and then the warm tonka bean note comes through over time. I also love the glittery bottle!
There have been a number of limited edition bottles of Good Girl – these are all the original fragrance – so the only difference is the bottle. I really loved Good Girl Fantastic Pink with Karlie Kloss as the face of the campaign, it had a fun 70s space vibe which made for beautiful promotional material. Plus the sparkly pink bottle is to die for!
Carolina Herrera Very Good Girl
In 2021 Carolina Herrera released Very Good Girl. With a new red bottle and a new fragrance style, this release marked a departure to the Good Girl theme to date. Very Good Girl is a lychee fragrance with a hint of raspberry and a rose heart. It’s much fresher than the others in the range, and where as the original is perfect for evening, I’d wear Very Good Girl during the day and in the summer. Lychee and rose has proved a popular combination in the past few years and it could be said that Very Good Girl is a cheap alternative to Parfums De Marley Delina.
Carolina Herrera Good Girl Superstars
Carolina Herrera Good Girl Superstars is a 2021 limited edition which comes in a fun glittery silver bottle. I can’t believe it’s taken this long to get a silver version, I love it!
The marketing for this fragrance is all about living like a Superstar, be attractive like a star and show who you really are.
The fragrance itself is the same as the original perfume, so this is just a limited edition bottle.
