Giorgio Armani My Way Perfume Review

Giorgio Armani My Way is a pretty tuberose fragrance inspired by the modern woman. In 2021 My Way Intense was released; this is a deeper, woodier twist on the original My Way Eau de Parfum.

Giorgio Armani My Way vs My Way Intense

The My Way Intense bottle is almost identical to the original My Way. The only change is a blue base and a slightly pinker liquid, but to the untrained eye I can imagine buyers getting confused between the two.

The scent itself has kept the signature feel of the original. Often intense versions are quite different to the original perfume, but here they have kept true to the strong tuberose note. The main change is the removal of the jasmine and cedar wood, to be replaced with sandalwood. The bergamot too has been swapped for a bitter orange.

Personally, I found My Way Intense to have a slightly aromatic feel to its composition. The removal of the bergamot has taken away the fresh element, and the bitterness of the bitter orange feels a bit too much for me. The sandalwood is probably what’s driving the aromatic sense I get, and it mixes with the vanilla to make this fragrance feel deeper and woodier than My Way original.

My Way Refillable Bottle

The My Way bottle is said to have been designed to be reused and to last. The flacon has a refill system that is simple and clean to use, as there is no funnel. It means the original bottle can be refilled without losing a drop of perfume or the risk of any spillage onto the hands. Between them, compared to using four 50ml flacons, one 50ml My Way bottle and its 150ml refill enable reductions of 55% less glass, 75% less metal, 64% less plastic and 32% less cardboard.
