The Ultimate Guide To The Best Coconut Perfumes

Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche is the iconic coconut scent I always think of whenever ‘Bronze Goddess’ is mentioned. 

Alongside the tropical coconut perfume note is Tiare Flower; this is an exotic flower which grows in hot climates. The combination of the two is fresh yet warm, and reminds me of sipping a Pina Colada on the beach. 

Some people find coconut fragrances a bit intense, but Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche isn’t overwhelming or overly sweet.

Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love felt like the perfect name for my second fragrance release. Aphrodite’s scent leaves a lasting impression on the wearer and those who encounter them. Aphrodite awakens the senses with the scent of mango, fresh lotus flowers surrounded by exotic palms. As the fragrance develops an exotic coconut note transports the wearer to a sensual paradise where the possibilities are endless and true love blossoms.

Dolce Garden is one of the best coconut perfumes on the market if you’re looking for a sweeter fragrance. It’s a beautiful tropical coconut scent which is accompanied by a tropical frangipani note, neroli, warm almond and a fresh citrus note.

I always take Dolce Garden on vacation with me and it always makes me smile when I spray it.

La Vie Est Belle Soleil Cristal is the only perfume in the La Vie Est Belle range which includes coconut.

The fragrance keeps the white florals and vanilla of the original La Vie Est Belle but the vanilla is paired down and replaced by a tropical and warm coconut note which instantly whisks the wearer away to an island parade. 

Perfect for summer and vacations, and amazing for lasting, I think this is my favourite from the range.

DKNY Be Delicious Coconuts About Summer is a fun, tropical Coconut Nectar perfume.

Be Delicious Coconuts About Summer is quite a light coconut scent so I recommend it for the day time.

Cosmopolitan Eau De Juice 100% Chilled is one of the most affordable coconut perfumes on the market. The range is available in Ulta in the US and The Fragrance Shop in the UK.

Coconut is of course the main note, along with a feminine orange blossom. There is an initial fresh brush of red berries and bergamot.

Cosmopolitan Eau De Juice 100% Chilled has good lasting power and is great value for money.

Arizona Bloom is one of the newest releases from British niche brand Floral Street.

It’s a coconut, flowery amber with a dry finish. This vegan perfume is described as being “for the joyful, nomadic, and free-spirited”.

Its super warm and slightly sweet Balinese coconut note combines with Madagascan black pepper spices and a salty musk to create a fragrance with great lasting power.

I find this sticks around on clothing for up to 48 hours.

Atelier Cologne Pacific Lime is a super fresh coconut perfume. It has an unusual fresh mint note which reminds me of a mojito! There are also very fresh lime and lemon notes which lift the scent.

The Atelier Cologne fragrances are unisex and I definitely think Pacific Lime could be worn by anyone.

Although it’s a cologne I find it performs like an Eau de Parfum and has good lasting power. It’s also available to get with a pink leather travel case for the smaller size.

Creed fragrances are known for their lasting power and Virgin Island Water is no exception.

I find Creed Virgin Island Water to be quite a boozy coconut fragrance, reminiscent of Malibu liquor.

There is a sugary rum note which combines with the coconut and citrus notes in here to create that boozy feel. If you’re looking for a super strong, and long lasting coconut scent then Virgin Island Water is your best choice.

La Nuit Trésor Nude is a Coconut and Vanilla fragrance. Despite being an Eau de Toilette it has great lasting power.

I find La Nuit Trésor Nude quite universal; the Coconut makes it appropriate for summer time and vacations, but its also a warm scent which would be cosy in the winter and fall.

The Replica range of perfumes aim to replicate a real life smell. Beach Walk is a warm Coconut Milk fragrance with plenty of tropical Ylang-ylang notes and a hint of fresh citrus in the opening.

Replica Beach Walk is probably one of the lighter Coconut fragrance options because it’s an Eau de Toilette.

Kayali Utopia Vanilla Coco reminds me of Bronze Goddess in that it has plenty of Coconut in but it’s also a white floral. Jasmine, Honeysuckle, Pear Blossom, Tuberose and Gardenia all create a feminine Coconut fragrance which fades to reveal a Vanilla undertone.

Kayali fragrances are Vegan and Cruelty-free.

Sun Fruit by Ellis Brooklyn is a sophisticated spring/ summer scent, which reminds me of star fruits. The combination of pear, fig, and coconut works really well together. It has a bright yellow fragrance with a hint of green which settles and becomes floral in scent. The amber is quite deep and overall it is a light, refreshing perfume with moderate sillage and longevity.
