Chanel is probably the most well-known perfume brand in the world and it has an extensive range of perfumes for women. This article recommends the Chanel perfumes which are best for modern young ladies and women in the 2020s.
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Intense
The best selling Chanel perfume is Coco Mademoiselle, a chypre, feminine Rose and Patchouli fragrance. Its classy and elegant and has quite good lasting power. Personally, I prefer Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Intense which is slightly warmer and stronger than the original Eau de Parfum.
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle comes in three sizes and in four different concentrations Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette, Parfum and Eau de Parfum Intense (my article on the entire range). The Coco Mademoiselle Hair Mist is also a nice product which helps extend the life of the fragrance.
Chanel Chance Eau de Parfum
Chanel Chance Eau de Parfum is my second recommendation. This is a classy Musk perfume which has similar lasting power to Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum. It reminds me of Narciso Rodriguez For Her in that it’s classy without being overly feminine and its also appropriate for work.
Chanel Chance Eau Tendre Eau de Parfum
The Chanel Chance range has three flankers; Eau Vive, Eau Fraiche and Eau Tendre. These versions of Chanel Chance are aimed at a younger market than the other Chanel fragrances. A few years ago Chanel Chance Eau Tendre was released in an Eau de Parfum version, and this is my top recommendation for young ladies looking for a feminine, classy perfume which isn’t too intense.
