I think that the Autumn (or Fall for US readers) is a time of year when you want a warm fragrance which comforts you as the knowledge that summer is over settles in. These are my top recommendations for affordable Autumn perfumes.

Valentino Voce Viva Intensa
Valentino Voce Viva Intensa is indeed a more intense perfume than the original Voce Viva. A Bourbon Vanilla is used instead of a sweet Vanilla and this gives the fragrance a lovely, cosy night-time feel.
The Jasmine and Orange Blossom in the heart are sophisticated and classy. I feel like Valentino Voce Viva Intensa is a great every day option for an Autumn perfume because it’s warm and cosy without being too intense or sweet.
I’d happily wear this perfume during the day and night in the Fall.
Hugo Boss Alive
BOSS Alive Intense is a warm amber perfume. It’s slightly stronger and warmer than the original BOSS Alive which is all about a fruity Plum note; I think both the EDP and the Intense versions of BOSS Alive are great Autumn perfumes.
Benzoin, which is a tree resin note, gives us the majority of the fragrance in BOSS Alive Intense. There is a slight nod towards a Raspberry note, but really BOSS Alive Intense is all about the Amber.
Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum
My personal favourite perfume, Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum is a perfect feminine fragrance.
The main note here is a fresh and fruity Pear which is made warm by a Toffee undertone. This is all accompanied by a Patchouli base which creates the body of the perfume.
The lasting power I’d say is medium, and is the only things I don’t like about the fragrance. However, because it has been out for so long you can usually find this at around half price, so I don’t feel guilty spraying lots!
Oui La Vie Est Belle
The newer release from Lancôme is Lancôme Oui La Vie est Belle which stands out with its beautiful bottle adorned with a gold sparkly spray on the front.
The perfume is a sweet Iris which is very reminiscent of the original but without the Vanilla undertones.
The lasting power is just as good as the original La Vie Est Belle and its an Eau de Parfum too. I also get a hint of Rose and Raspberry but its the sweet Iris note which is the star of the show here.

Maison Margiela Replica Autumn Vibes
It would be remiss to take about Autumn perfumes without mentioning Maison Margiela Replica Autumn Vibes. The Replica range of fragrances are all unisex, and aim to recreate a particular real-life scent and feeling.
Personally, I found the Cedar note to be the dominant scent, supported by Cardamon and a Mossy perfume note.
Although Autumn Vibes is an Eau de Toilette, I found it performed well and lasts for many hours.
This type of scent is typical of a man’s fragrance, though it would absolutely be suitable for a lady who liked woody perfumes.
L’Artisan Parfumeur Noir Exquis
L’Artisan Parfumeur Noir Exquis is perfect for Autumn with its unique Maple Syrup note. The sweetness and warmth of the Maple is combined with Chestnut, Ebony, Coffee and Vanilla to create such a cosy perfume.
I think L’Artisan Parfumeur Noir Exquis is similar to Replica By The Fireplace but it’s a bit sweeter.
