Pear is one of my favourite fruity fragrance notes; it adds a fresh and almost aquatic tone to the top note of a perfume which I find isn’t too sweet but still provides a fruity uplift. This article outlines the best Pear perfumes and links to where you can get them.

Juliette Has A Gun Pear Inc
Juliette Has A Gun are a niche fragrance brand famous for their Not A Perfume scent which uses synthetic ingredients like Ambroxan to create a simple, but long lasting skin scent (my article on the entire range).
Juliette Has A Gun Pear Inc takes their signature cashmere skin scent and adds to it a fresh Pear note. The Pear is the very true to life and is the main note when you first spray the scent. After an hour or so the Ambroxan is more noticeable and lasts for many hours.
Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Pera Granita
Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Pera Granita is a zesty Pear fragrance with refreshing top notes of Grapefruit and Lemon. The Pear is complimented by an Orange Blossom heart which helps add depth to the fruitiness.
Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria scents are a gorgeous collection of natural green or fruity fragrances; I’ve reviewed them all in my article on the range.
I think Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Pera Granita is available in the US at Bergdorf Goodman, Nordstrom, Macy’s and Bloomingdales. In Canada you can order it from Sephora. In the UK and Europe it can be found at Notino (who usually have the best price), House of Fraser, and Lookfantastic. It is also widely available on Amazon.
Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum
Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum is my personal favourite perfume, it simply makes me smile every time I wear it.
This is a sweet fragrance with a strong and juicy Pear note that is accompanied by Toffee and Patchouli. It isn’t overly strong overall though and can easily be worn during the day. I find it very universal and wear it throughout the year.
Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia
Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia is one of Jo Malone London’s most well-known perfumes. For me, it epitomises the Jo Malone London brand (Jo Malone is no longer involved with the brand after selling it to Estée Lauder years ago) with its fresh, classy tones that work well in body products as well as in the cologne.
The Freesia and white floral tones are just as strong as the Pear note in Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia, so if you like white florals then this is worth a try.
H&M Pear
The H&M fragrances are great, inexpensive scents which tend to recreate a particular fragrance note. H&M Pear does exactly what it says on the tin, its a fresh fruit Pear fragrance. You can wear it on its own or layer it with other fragrances to bring out a Pear note or add it completely. H&M Pear is an Eau de Toilette but is super affordable so you can keep it with you and top-up throughout the day.
H&M Pear is available in the US, UK, France, DE, AT, DK, HU, NL, NO, FI, PO, SE, and the rest of the world.
Annick Goutal Petite Cherie
For a niche Pear fragrance, Annick Goutal offer a cute French perfume called Petite Cherie. It’s a feminine fragrance which opens with fresh Pear, and is accompanied by a floral Rose and a green Peach note. It’s a cute, unassuming perfume ideal for every day.
Annick Goutal recently changed their bottles and renamed themselves just Goutal, though I have heard that these changes are going to be reversed.
Petite Cherie is available at Lookfantastic and Walmart.
