Givenchy’s most recent range of fragrances are called Irresistible Givenchy; there are five different perfumes in this range, two are Eau de Parfum and two Eau de Toilette. This article reviews each Irresistible Givenchy perfume and explains the difference between them.

Irresistible Givenchy Eau de Parfum
Irresistible Givenchy Eau de Parfum is one of my personal favourite fragrances.
I love the Pear fragrance note, and Irresistible Givenchy has it in spades. This fresh fruity Pear note is accompanied by a beautifully sparkling Rose and Ambrette Musk note.
The Givenchy Irresistible perfumes often use Rose, and for me Givenchy’s Rose has quite a different scent to any other Rose. There is something sparkling and ethereal about it; Givenchy Ange Ou Secret has it, as well.
At first I was worried that Irresistible Givenchy would have the projection I needed, but after a number of compliments when wearing it, I can confirm it does! I also love the complimentary body products as they help layer the fragrance.
Irresistible Givenchy Eau de Toilette
Irresistible Givenchy Eau de Toilette is a simple, fresh Rose perfume. Imaging the scent of Rose water; super fresh and feminine.
There is a slight Cassis note which comes from the Blackcurrant bush. However, there aren’t other berries in here as the advertising indicates.
I recommend Irresistible Givenchy Eau de Toilette for fans of a fresh Rose. Its super light so ideal for hot weather or even laying with the Eau de Parfum.
Irresistible Givenchy Eau de Toilette Fraiche
The latest edition to the range Irresistible Givenchy Eau de Toilette Fraiche is a fresh Orange scent. The signature Rose of the original is present; so it’s not quite as lighter rose as Irresistible Givenchy Eau de Toilette.
Again, I advise Irresistible Givenchy Eau de Toilette Fraiche for the day time, and spring/summer. It can also be layered with the original to add the Orange note.
Irresistible Givenchy Eau de Parfum Rose Velvet
2023 saw the launch of the 4th version of the fragrance; Irresistible Givenchy Eau de Parfum Rose Velvet. This perfume is the deepest of the four; instead of the fresh Pear note of the original, a wintery, woody note alongside Iris and Patchouli make Irresistible Givenchy Rose Velvet warm and sultry.
Don’t be put off by the heavier undertones; the fragrance still has the modern Rose feeling of the rest of the range.
Irresistible Givenchy Very Floral Eau de Parfum
Irresistible Givenchy Very Floral is my second favourite in this range after the original. It really is a complete floral bouquet which balances rose, iris and ylang-ylang really well. It projects well and has a lovely Ambrette musk base which feels cosy and modern. I recommend this for anyone looking for an everyday floral perfume that has good lasting power, but who doesn’t want the fruity pear note of the original Givenchy Irresistible.

You usually have everything but I couldn’t find anything about the Chanel Coco line, as in Chanel Coco eau de parfum or Chanel Coco Noir edp.
