Mademoiselle Rochas Eau de Parfum
The original Mademoiselle Rochas Eau de Parfum is a sweet and petite fragrance with notes of candy apple, blackcurrant, rose and woody notes. It is almost like any other typically fruity perfume, except for the rose and woody notes that bring a slightly more mature allure to the mix. The blackcurrant, which I absolutely treasure in perfumes, along with the apple make this carefree and elated, ideal for every day wear.
Mademoiselle Rochas Eau de Toilette
As expected from an Eau de Toilette, this version of Mademoiselle Rochas is floral and light, with a simple and breezy quality to it. It has notes of blackcurrant, violet leaf, rose, plum and white musk creating an elegant and pretty fragrance that elevates my day. It is light and lasts a couple of hours, but has a gorgeous bottle that I adore and a great, feminine smell.
Mademoiselle Rochas Couture
Mademoiselle Rochas Couture is a strong tonka bean centred fragrance reminiscent of Jimmy Choo Fever. The fragrance is both pretty and powerful and one I turn to in the autumn months. It has floral notes of heliotrope, lily-of-the-valley and fruity top notes of pear and bergamot that create a slightly fresh feel initially until the tonka bean comes through in the dry down as a welcome warmth. This perfume is a good cold weather or evening time scent as it has a very lingering romantic aura that stays on clothes for hours.
Mademoiselle Rochas in Black
I like to think of Mademoiselle Rochas in Black as an opposite to the original. With black vibes both on the outside, where it is housed in the most regal bottle, and on the inside with notes of blackberry, black tea, leather, rose and black vanilla, this exquisite fragrance is chic, rebellious and sensual. I find that the blackberry note dominates with fruity appeal and the warm, slightly spicy notes of leather and vanilla add a seductive sophistication to this perfume which makes it ideal for evenings.
