Catherine Zeta-Jones has been the face of the fragrance, but nowadays it really sells itself. This article explains what each of the Green Tea fragrances smell like and where you can still get all the discontinued versions. Elizabeth Arden Green Tea is the ultimate affordable fresh fragrance. The light eau de toilette of course includes a Green Tea fragrance note, alongside fresh Citrus, green Mint and Oakmoss, and aromatic notes which are reminiscent of the scent of walking into a spa.
There are also a number of accompanying body products which can help layer the Green Tea fragrance.
Green Tea Tropical
Green Tea Lotus
Green Tea Lotus is a super fresh scent ideal for humid weather.
I find the combination of Green Tea and Lotus is reminiscent of Bvlgari Omnia Cristalline.
Green Tea Exotic
Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Exotic adds floral notes to the signature Green Tea scent.
Lily, Orchid, Jasmine and Narcissus create a feminine feel to Green Tea Exotic which makes it very wearable throughout the year.
Green Tea Lavender
Green Tea Lavender is probably the most calming of all the Green Tea perfumes. Both Lavender and Camomile create a scent which reminds me of taking a really relaxing bath.
Green Tea Yuzu
Yuzu is a citrus fruit which has the scent of a sharp, tropical lemon. Green Tea Yuzu also has Lemon is as well as the signature Green Tea and Mint. It’s effectively like a more citrusy version of the original Elizabeth Arden Green Tea.
Green Tea Bamboo
Green Tea Bamboo is a green, woody take on the original Elizabeth Arden Green Tea scent. Galbanum, Violet, Matte and Musks create a deeper feeling to Green Tea Bamboo compared to the other more citrusy or floral versions in the range.
Green Tea Cucumber
Green Tea Cucumber not only has Cucumber in it but also a Watermelon note. These notes create quite a watery feel to Green Tea Cucumber; it feels like the lightest in the Green Tea range.
Green Tea Mimosa
Mimosa is a really green and slightly musky floral scent. In Elizabeth Arden Mimosa its mixed with Heliotrope and Ambrette Musk to create the most musky version of Green Tea in the range.
Green Tea Nectarine Blossom
Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Nectarine Blossom is a gorgeous fruity perfume. Nectarine is accompanied by Peach and Nectarine Blossom to create the fruitiest version of Green Tea to date, and my personal favourite!
Green Tea Fig
Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Fig, though it does have a fruity Fig note in, is mainly a green fragrance. A Fig Leaf note, which reminds me of the smell of Ivy, is combined with Clary Sage and Violet to create an aromatic, green perfume.
Green Tea Pomegranate
Interestingly, Green Tea Pomegranate doesn’t have the signature Green Tea note in it, instead it uses Early Gray Tea Leaf. Pomegranate and Passionfruit add a fruity undertone but actually Green Tea Pomegranate is quite aromatic and green due to the inclusion of Violet Leaves and Matte.
Green Tea Pear Blossom
Green Tea Sakura Blossom
Green Tea Sakura Blossom (aka Cherry Blossom) includes the typical Japanese Cherry Blossom scent which although it’s a flower does have a sweet fruitiness to it. Peony, Jasmine and Violet help support the delicate Cherry Blossom to keep Green Tea Sakura Blossom a floral scent.
Green Tea Lychee Lime
Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Lychee Lime is super refreshing and a great affordable way of getting a simple zesty perfume for hot weather.
