Continuing my articles on all the citrus fragrance notes, Lime for me is definitely one of the sharpest and cleanest scents in perfumery. This article outlines the best Lime fragrances and perfumes for men and women

Table of Contents

Shay & Blue London Sicilian Limes

Shay & Blue London are a niche British fragrance brand who create unisex scents. Their Sicilian Limes fragrance is a super fresh Lime scent with a hint of aromatic notes from Rosemary, Cedar Wood and Mossy base notes.

Shay & Blue London Sicilian Limes is very clean and refreshing and appropriate for any time of year. It’s not a heavy fragrance but its pretty affordable so you can spray as much as you like without feeling guilty!

Atelier Cologne Pacific Lime

Atelier Cologne Pacific Lime is my personal favourite Lime fragrance. The fresh Lime top note hits you straight away; ideal for humid weather. This is then followed by a warmer tropical Coconut note, and a hint of Mint and Eucalyptus.

Atelier Cologne has withdrawn from the US but you can still get Pacific Lime at Walmart. In the UK & Europe I recommend getting Atelier Cologne from Notino.

Jo Malone London Lime Basil & Mandarin

Lime Basil & Mandarin is one of the most well-known fragrances from Jo Malone London. It’s a pretty, aromatic citrus scent which works well as a home fragrance as well as a perfume. The Lime is the top note which is most noticeable, followed by Basil which is made aromatic with Thyme and Vetiver notes. Jo Malone London Lime Basil & Mandarin is a calming, classy fragrance which is great for gifting.

Floris Limes

Floris is a classic British fragrance brand with a royal heritage (Queen Elizabeth II wore Floris). Floris Limes is a unisex Lime fragrance which actually uses Lime Blossom to create quite a green Lime scent. Neroli, Petitegrain and Lilly-of-the-valley also add to the green citrus feeling of Floris Limes.

Annick Goutal Eau du Sud

Annick Goutal is a classic French perfume brand who used to have iconic bottles which looked like something from French royalty. They’ve recently modernised the bottle and renamed themselves as Goutal. Their Eau de Sud (Water from the South) is one of their best selling perfumes; it smells a bit like Jo Malone Lime Basil & Mandarin to be honest (but it’s much more affordable!). Lime, Basil, Mint, Lemon Verbena and Oakmoss create a very very green fragrance. Lovers of grassy green scents should definitely try Annick Goutal Eau du Sud.

Eau de Sud is available in the US at Stylemyle, In Australia at Fresh Fragrances, and in the UK and Europe at Notino.

Penhaligon’s Blenheim Bouquet

The quintessentially British brand Penhaligon’s released their Blenheim Bouquet which is inspired by the beautiful gardens of Blenheim Palace in England.

Penhaligon’s Blenheim Bouquet uses Lime and Lemon to create a zesty top note, this is followed by a classic Lavender and Pine

You can find Penhaligon’s Blenheim Bouquet at Bloomingdales (USA), Feel Unique (UK), and Fresh Fragrances (Australia).

Guerlain L’Homme

Guerlain L’Homme essentially smells like a Mojito cocktail. Lime and Mint create a fresh, clean fragrance which is made masculine and professional with a Vetiver undertone. This is a great men’s fragrance for the office and the day time.
