SOKI LONDON Empress
Empress a perfume I created, is an eau de parfum intense which was inspired by now discontinued Miss Dior Cherie. It has the same warm sweet popcorn base that is quite comforting and welcoming. In the initial spray, you get the wild strawberry top notes which is not sweet rather has a sophisticated undertone it. The heart of the perfume is peony and rose. It is a powerful perfume with a feminine touch to it! It is a sexy perfume that can be worn throughout the year, I wanted to create something bold but with a little bit of softness it in and I think thats what I have done with Empress! It’s also vegan and cruelty-free.
Matiere Premiere French Flower
Next up on my list is French Flower, a fairly new release by Matiere Premiere, a niche brand which focuses on use of natural ingredients to make perfumes. I was lucky enough to have attended the launch event of this perfume with the founders, this one is a tuberose and pear perfume, and has this beautiful earthy undertone to it. I love pear perfumes so this one became an instant favourite. It’s an eau de parfume with great lasting because its highly concentrated.
Floral Street Wonderland Peony
Floral Street is a perfume brand based out of Floral Street here in London. Their Wonderland Peony is my favourite from their range. They are vegan and cruelty free and their packaging is exceptionally cute. Wonderland Peony is a fresh peony with a candy floss base fragrance, the peony is similar to Miss Dior peony.
Parle Moi De Parfum Gardens of India
Gardens Of India is a lovely sandalwood and tuberose fragrance that is so unique, with plenty of green notes in it. The mix of jasmine and sandalwood is lovely. I am also getting some sort of incense that reminds of an Indian temple. That smell of incense before they are burned to be exact. It is a clean and sophisticated floral that would be loved by men and women alike.
Atelier Cologne Lemon Island
Atelier Cologne is one of my favourite niche brands. There are known for the Cologne which are light fragrances, this one in particular Lemon Island Absolu is amazing for lasting, comparable to an Eau De Parfum which is always great. It has such a beautiful summer fragrance, it has notes of lemon but its not super citrusy, it rather dominated by a tropical jasmine note, it has also has Madagascar vanilla which gives it a warm undertone. Overall a lovely unisex summer scent, I can’t get enough of it.
Juliette Has A Gun Magnolia Bliss
Magnolia Bliss is one of the best of the entire range of Juliette Has A Gun. The magnolia in this really lasts which is rare combined with their signature skin-like cashmere-y base. It has multiple floral notes that uplifts the perfume like bergamot, freesia and peony. Juliette Has A Gun mostly create heavier perfumes so this one came as a surprise and a pleasant one at that!
SOKI LONDON Aphrodite
The second fragrance I created, Aphrodite is my interpretation of the ultimate tropical and exotic scent. A mango top note opens the perfume with a fruity and elegant freshness; I worked hard to make the mango note last and it remains throughout the stages of the fragrance’s development. Aphrodite has a heart of palm leaves and lotus flower with a hint of coconut in the base. This is a highly concentrated fine fragrance and lasts 8-10 hours.
