Cherry is a fragrance note which isn’t commonly used in perfumes. It’s one which I receive a lot of questions about because it can be quite hard to find the right kind of cherry perfume that suits your taste. Here is my list of the best cherry perfumes across different price points, and from sweet to deeper cherry scents.
If you’re looking for a light and sweet cherry perfume I recommend trying cherry blossom perfumes.

Carolina Herrera Very Good Girl Glam
2022 saw the release of Carolina Herrera Very Good Girl Glam. This gorgeous raspberry pink bottle has a pink sparkles on the bottle which really make it stand out.
Very Good Girl Glam is one of my personal favourites from the Good Girl range. Its main note is a sour Cherry scent combined with Bitter Almond. The Rose of Very Good Girl is the other main perfume note, but in Very Good Girl Glam the fruitiness is sourer and sexier.
Very Good Girl Glam is a unique fragrance, which is completely different to any of the previous Good Girl perfumes.
Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire
If you’re looking for a deep Cherry fragrance then I cannot recommend Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire enough. This is a deep, dark, sexy Cherry with warm Tonka Bean, Vanilla and Almond notes which make the scent last and last.
The Cherry reminds me of a cherry liquor; it isn’t a fresh Cherry Blossom or a summer fruit scent.
For me, La Petite Robe Noire performs like an intense perfume, not just an Eau de Parfum.

Lancôme La Nuit Trésor Intense
2022 saw the release of La Nuit Trésor Intense which follows the theme of the La Nuit Trésor perfume range (my article on them all) by featuring warm sweet notes accompanied by red fruits.
La Nuit Trésor Intense uses a Sour Cherry note to create a sexy fruity top note. This is followed by a warm Almond note and the signature Tresor Rose heart.
Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry
The Kayali fragrances are a niche perfume brand from the sister of Huda Beauty. 2022 saw the release of Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry which is a dark Black Cherry fragrance with smoky, fiery undertones making it ideal for the colder months.
Jimmy Choo I Want Choo Forever
Jimmy Choo I Want Choo Forever is a Cherry and Rose perfume which has good lasting power.
If you’re looking to get that Cherry scent but don’t want a perfume which is just about Cherry, I recommend Jimmy Choo I Want Choo Forever because the Rose really adds a feminine dimension to the slightly sour cherry note.

Guess Seductive Red
Guess Seductive Red is probably the most affordable Cherry perfume that’s widely available. It’s a sweet, fruity fragrance which feels fun and lighthearted. I don’t find it particularly strong and so it would be appropriate for hot weather.
Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal By Night
Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal By Night is my personal favourite in the Scandal perfume range. Its powerful and sexy and is everything I’d expect from a perfume named Scandal.
The Honey is accompanied by a fruity Cherry note and warm Tonka Bean. Patchouli and woody notes help with lasting power, while Tuberose and Orange Blossom create fragrance projection.
For me, Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal By Night is a sexy date night fragrance. It also lasts the longest out of all the Scandal perfumes.
Ghost Orb Of Night
The latest release in the Ghost moon range is Ghost Orb of Night.
This is a warm and sweet cherry caramel scent – ideal for winter and cosy nights in. Ghost Orb of Night isn’t too strong so its ideal for every day wear, plus it’s also very affordable.
Tom Ford Lost Cherry
Tom Ford Lost Cherry is an Amber fragrance, so if you’re looking for a scent which brings out the sweet, fruitiness of cherries than this isn’t for you.
Lost Cherry is deep, dark and pretty strong; it reminds me of a cherry liquor. A boozy note, combines with winter cloves and balmy wooden notes to create a fragrance which feels at home on the darkest of winter days.
