Britney Spears Blissful Fantasy
It’s easy to dismiss Britney Spears fragrances as just another celebrity perfume but I find that within the extensive Fantasy range there are some real hidden gems.
Britney Spears Blissful Fantasy is a great Melon perfume. It really captures the sweet, fresh vibes of honeydew melon; this top note is accompanied by tropical Tiare Flower and other white floral notes which make it quite similar to Dior’s J’Adore.
Trussardi Donna Pink Marina
Trussardi Donna Pink Marina is a sweet Melon fragrance which reminds me of a having a Melon sorbet on a hot summer day. As an Eau de Toilette it isn’t a strong fragrance, so I recommend it for the day time in the warmer months.
Trussardi perfumes tend to be quite affordable; Trussardi Donna Pink Marina is available at Macy’s in the US, The Fragrance Shop in the Europe.
Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers
The classic Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers opens with a fresh Melon alongside Peach, Citrus and Orange Blossom. I don’t think sunflowers really have a smell so Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers instead is the kind of fresh sunny scent which reminds you of summer. It’s very affordable and is a great option for a gift or treat for yourself.
Dior J’Adore
The original J’Adore Eau de Parfum has a super feminine white floral heart of Jasmine and Lil-of-the-valley. However, I wanted to include it in my list of the best Melon perfumes because J’Adore also has a fresh Melon opening note which perfectly captures the scent of first cutting open a Melon.
