A Guide To Every Britney Spears Fantasy Perfume Ever!

The iconic original Britney Spears Fantasy perfume comes in a bright pink bottle with green diamonds on.

It’s recognised as one of the sweetest perfumes on the market, with a strong vanilla and chocolate cupcake scent, complimented by a fruity kiwi.

It’s a unique scent and is fantastic for lasting.

If you like sweet fragrances then this is a great value way to get a super sweet perfume which lasts all day.

The second fragrance to be released in the Fantasy range, Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy is my personal favourite in the range.

This is a plum and sour cherry fragrance which is AMAZING for lasting.

The sweet and slightly tart fruity scent stays on clothes and in my hair for 24 hours.

I often get compliments when wearing this; I tend to wear it for evenings when I’m looking for something fun that can be relied on to last.

As a big fan of orange fragrances, Hidden Fantasy is a great option for an affordable tangerine sent.

This fragrance is lighter and fresher than it’s predecessors, well suited for summer.

It reminds me of an orange flavoured sweet; which I think could be easily layered with other fragrances to add a citrus vibe.

Britney Spears Circus Fantasy is the first floral fragrance in the Fantasy perfume range.

It’s a pretty raspberry, apricot blossom and orchid.

The signature sweet notes are definitely still there, as is a fruitiness which comes from a raspberry note, but the sweet floral vibes of the apricot blossom make this a bit softer and more feminine than previous Fantasy perfumes.

Circus Fantasy was released in line with her Fantasy album and tour. The blue bottle with red diamonds on matches the circus theme which Britney rocked during this period.

Britney Spears Fantasy Twist is a unique bottle which allows you to spray either the original Fantasy fragrance of Midnight Fantasy.

Britney Spears Island Fantasy is super fruity tropical scent.

The main fragrance notes are watermelon, orange and other citrus notes.

The signature fantasy sugary undertone is still there but the fruity notes, particularly the watermelon are the main notes which makeup the scent.

Britney Spears Fantasy 10th Anniversary Edition is a limited edition bottle continuing the original Fantasy fragrance.

These fragrances were the first Britney Spears Fantasy fragrances to not come in the signature round bottle.

The Fantasy Naught Remix takes the sweet notes from original Fantasy, focusing on the vanilla cupcake vibes the perfume is known for.

The Fantasy Nice Remix also has the sweet cupcake of original Fantasy but this is complimented with the kiwi and floral notes from the original.

Following on from Britney’s iconic appearance at the VMAs with a live snake (terrifying!), Fantasy Stage Edition was released to celebrate this famous moment in pop history.

It contains the original Fantasy fragrance in a limited edition bottle which is inspired by the yellow patterns of the snake’s skin.

Britney went through a bit of a ‘rocker’ phase, covering Joan Jett’s ‘I Love Rock n Roll’.

Rocker Femme Fantasy celebrates the rock side of Britney. It has a sexy sweet coconut scent which reminds me of Ariana Grande Cloud.

There is a warm cashmere and blackberry note underneath the coconut which combine with a feminine violet. Overall though, this fragrance is all about the coconut.

Coconut really helps a fragrance last; I’d recommend this fragrance for a someone who wants something strong, warm and sweet.

Britney Spears Fantasy Intimate Edition comes in a white bottle with pink diamonds. This is a soft feminine fragrance which is inspired by Britney’s intimate side.

The main note is brown sugar which is much warmer than the white sugary notes used in some of her previous fragrances.

We also see some soft amber and floral notes including violet and heliotrope.

This is the type of fragrance which I’d recommend for cosy evenings on the sofa.

Britney Spears Maui Fantasy is one of my favourite fragrances from the Fantasy range.

It evokes all the tropical vibes a perfume can do.

The main note is passionfruit, with a fresh grapefruit, complimented with tropical Tiare flower and hibiscus.

The fragrance is underpinned with coconut and orange blossom; both strong fragrance notes which help it really last.

This is the perfect vacation scent!

Sunset Fantasy is one of my favourite Fantasy bottles with a calm pink to orange fade with gold diamonds.

This is a fruity peach scent accompanied with fresh fruity notes like green apple, mandarin and raspberry.

The scent has a milky vanilla undertone which is quite soft and offset any sharpness from the citrus notes.

As the name and branding would suggest, Britney Spears Fantasy in Bloom is a Japanese cherry blossom fragrance.

Red berries accompany the cherry blossom note (this is a very common combination) which brings out the slight sweetness that cherry blossom has.

There is a hint of mandarin orange and osmanthus which both nicely compliment and ‘hold up’ the cherry blossom.

This fragrance is one of the prettiest in the Fantasy range and would be appropriate for daytime, spring/summer and occasions when you want to feel super feminine.

Rainbow Fantasy is another beautiful bottle in the Fantasy range.

This is a super sweet cotton candy fragrance – not for the faint hearted!

There are some fruity notes and some floral notes in here, but predominantly this perfume smells just like cotton candy (we call it candy floss in the UK!).

For fans of Aqualina Pink Sugar – this could be a fun alternative.

Britney Spears Festive Fantasy really reminds me of Midnight Fantasy.

Personally I find this perfume to be a lighter and slightly less sweet version of Midnight Fantasy.

Given Midnight Fantasy has been out for so many years you can usually get it cheaper than Festive Fantasy; so my recommendation would be to stick with Midnight Fantasy.

Glitter Fantasy is the first bottle to be totally sparkly and not have the diamonds scattered around the bottle.

This perfume is a red fruity perfume; think fruits of the forest or blackcurrant squash.

There is some feminine violet and heliotrope and a musk in the base, but predominantly this perfume is all about the red berries.

Again, this has some similarity with Midnight Fantasy.

Released during the height of the #FreeBritney movement regarding her controversial conservatorship, the ad campaign for Fantasy Intense features old images or just images of the bottle. I do wonder to what extent, if any at all, Britney was involved in this new perfume release.

The perfume name really explains it all; this is a stronger version of the original fantasy. The same fragrance notes but stronger.

Britney Spears Fantasy Sheer is another new release in the Fantasy perfume line which doesn’t have any new promotional pictures of Britney.

It’s a softer and lighter version of original Fantasy. I think this is ideal if you like the scent of Fantasy but found it too strong.

The sharpness of the kiwi is replaced with a waterlily and the signature cupcake scent is much more subtle.

2021 saw the release of Britney Spears Electric Fantasy.

I just purchased this and I have to say it’s definitely got the signature strength I’ve come to expect from Fantasy.

This fragrance has a heliotrope, jasmine and pink pepper. It comes across as more grown-up than many of her sweeter or fruitier fragrances.

The strong jasmine note makes this a similar perfume to many best sellers at the moment such as I Want Choo and Carolina Herrera Good Girl.

The latest addition to the Fantasy range is Britney Spears Blissful Fantasy. This feminine summer scent has tropical Tiare Flower, Fire Lily and Honeydew Melon in; which create a carefree perfume ideal for hot weather.

Tuberose and Jasmine have also been used to help give the fragrance body but its those unusual tropical notes which make Blissful Fantasy an interesting perfume, definitely worth a try!

Osmanthus is one of my favourite fragrance notes. It isn’t used in many perfumes and is exclusively grown for use in fragrance in China. Osmanthus is a flower though it tends to have a scent similar to Peach. Britney Spears Naked Fantasy combines both Osmanthus and Peach to create a fruity fragrance which also has quite a sweet feel to it; derived from a cupcake fragrance note.

Britney Spears Jungle Fantasy is a fresh watermelon fragrance which is light and uplifting. Even though the fragrance notes state that it includes a cup cake note, I don’t get any of the sweetness of the original Fantasy perfume. Instead, I find Jungle Fantasy fades to become a subtle floral fragrance, where the water lily and violet leaf linger on the skin.

This isn’t a strong fragrance and doesn’t last beyond an hour. If you’re looking for a tropical fragrance that lasts, I recommend my Aphrodite, the fragrance I created to be the ultimate fresh exotic scent.
