The smell of Apple is such a widely recognised scent, though it’s quite difficult to capture in a meaningful way within a fragrance. This article outlines the best Apple perfumes which really have Apple as a main note.

Table of Contents

DKNY Be Delicious

The ultimate Green Apple perfume has to be the iconic DKNY Be Delicious. This fresh Eau de Toilette not only looks like an Apple but smells like one too. DKNY have captured the scent of a freshly sliced Green Apple in Be Delicious; this has to be the ultimate Apple perfume!

There have been a lot of versions of DKNY Be Delicious; check out my article which reviews each one.

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue

When you think of Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue it’s easy to think of Italian Lemons by the shiny blue waters of Italy. However, the main note in Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue is actually a Green Apple, followed by Lemon. Light Blue Eau de Toilette is a very clean Apple perfume, as is the Intense version which is better for lasting.

There are some really pretty versions of Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue; my article on them all.

Nina Ricci, Nina

Nina by Nina Ricci was one of the first perfumes I owned. It’s cute Apple shaped perfume bottle indicated the Red Apple perfume note which is combined with Caramel to create a Candy Apple fragrance. Nina is sweet, innocent and light hearted. The Apple fragrance keeps it light-hearted while the Caramel creates depth. Nina is an Eau de Toilette so this isn’t a particularly strong fragrance, I recommend it for during the day.

My article on the entire Nina perfume range.

Kayali Eden Juicy Apple

Kayali Eden Juicy Apple in indeed a very Juicy fragrance. The Red Apple fragrance note combines with lots of sweet and fruity Berries to create something which actually reminds me of Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy.

Kayali Eden Juicy Apple is an Eau de Parfum and has good lasting power for a fresh fruity perfume. The Kayali range is created by the sister of Huda Beauty and she has some really interesting perfumes in the range.

Boss Orange

The Women’s version of Hugo Boss Orange, ironically is an Apple, not an Orange perfume. The Orange name recognises the Orange Blossom note which creates a feminine heart to the perfume. Boss Orange opens with a Red Apple fruity note which is fresh and slightly sweet. The Orange Blossom makes the perfume classy and I recommend Boss Orange for the day time and the office.

Hermès Un Jardin Sur Le Toit

Hermès Un Jardin Sur Le Toit (which translates to A Garden On The Roof) is part of the Hermès garden range which is inspired by different gardens in the world. This fragrance is the fruitiest in the range with its Red Apple note which is make ‘green’ with the addition of a Grass perfume note.

Kilian Brandy Apple On The Rocks

Kilian Brandy Apple On The Rocks is a unique unisex fragrance which evokes the Rum and Brandy fuelled sensation of a late night bar. The Apple perfume note is combined with these alcoholic notes, Vanilla, Pineapple and Cardamon to create a strong, warm and sweet Brandy Apple scent.
