Violet is a fragrance note which has really grown on me in recent years. It’s used to create the scent of makeup in products like eyeshadow and lipstick, and so I associate it with feeling really feminine. This article outlines the best Violet perfumes for any budget.

Juliette Has A Gun Lipstick Fever
The niche fragrance brand Juliette Has A Gun has lots of great lasting fragrances. Lipstick Fever Eau de Parfum is my personal favourite from their range. It recreates the scent of lipstick with Violet and Raspberry fragrance notes. I think it’s a great date night perfume because it’s feminine and sexy, it also has great lasting power.

Glossier You
Glossier is primarily a makeup brand, they only have the one fragrance but it’s been a very successful product for them. Glossier You is a soft, powdery Violet fragrance which is delicate and feminine. It’s ideal to add a finishing touch to your outfit after you’ve finished your makeup. It lingers for hours without being overbearing, great for everyday use.
Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Flora Salvaggia
In 2021 Guerlain added Flora Salvaggia to their Aqua Allegoria range. The fragrance has a lovely aquatic Melon top note which adds a really refreshing tone to the Violet heart. A touch of Orange Blossom adds femininity which perfectly rounds of this well composed perfume.
There are lots of fresh and well put-together perfumes in the Guerlain Aqua Allegoria range, check out my article on them all here.
Guerlain Insolence
Guerlain Insolence is a classic Violet perfume which used to come in a circular flower-shaped bottle. It’s probably the strongest and post powdery Violet fragrance and its one I always recommend to Parma Violet fans. A hint of Strawberry, Vanilla and Iris add to the depth the fragrance which is a strong Eau de Parfum.
Annick Goutal La Violette
Annick Goutal La Violette is a super powdery and slightly green Violet perfume. The Annick Goutal fragrances tend to be quite traditional, and La Violette reminds me of a classic ladies scent that a member of the Royal family would wear!
