Lalique is a French brand which has been creating beautiful glassware since 1888. From 1992 Lalique have been creating perfumes as well; they now have 95 perfumes and counting! Their more recent release is the Lalique Soleil perfume range. This article reviews both Lalique Soleil and the new Lalique Soleil Vibrant.
In the UK and Europe I recommend the best prices for Lalique Soleil are at AllBeauty, Notino and Harrods. In the US I recommend Macys, Neiman Marcus, and Walmart.
Lalique Soleil Eau de Parfum
Lalique Soleil Eau de Parfum is a warm and milky Orange fragrance.
Initially the scent is characterised by Orange and Pear but soon a Jasmine heart starts to evolve. This is then followed by a Milky Almond, Caramel, Praline and a hint of Coffee.
What’s really makes Lalique Soleil stand out is it’s beautiful thick glass bottle; it looks and feels classy. The perfume also comes with a Lalique gold bracelet which is a nice touch and ideal for gifting!
Lalique Soleil Vibrant Eau de Parfum
Lalique Soleil Vibrant is inspired by the sunset. It’s a really interesting fragrance mix; combining fresh Pear, Citrus and Ginger, with a Jasmine, Orange Blossom and Saffron heart and a Bourbon Vanilla base. This unusual mix creates a scent which is fresh yet slightly floral, sharp yet gentle and less sweet than the original Soleil. I’m not usually a fan of fragrances with Saffron in but I have to say I really love this scent; it makes me feel really classy and femenine when I wear it.
The fragrance includes ingredients which have been scientifically proven to stimulate the happiness parts of our brains, and I have to say when I wear this it does make me feel good! I think it really works.
Lalique Soleil vs Lalique Soleil Vibrant
Lalique Soleil Crystal Edition Extrait de Parfum
I often get asked ‘What is the most expensive perfume in the world?’ well, Lalique Soleil Crystal Edition Extrait de Parfum 1500ml may be it.
At a cool £21,500 this exclusive fragrance is a limited edition of 20. Each bottle is made of pure crystal and weights 5kg. It’s hand-painted with gold, numbered and signed. The chain includes a Lalique pearl from the 1927/28 collection.
The bottle contains the original Lalique Soleil fragrance but in a stronger, more concentrated Extrait de Parfum.
