Lancôme Tresor Midnight Rose, released in 2011, is one of my favourite fragrances of all time. Following Harry Potter, the campaign for Tresor Midnight Rose was one of Emma Watson’s first promotional deals (as a Hermione fan this only increased my excitement for the launch!). In 2010 Tresor In Love was released, this is a summery fresh and fruity fragrance which for me is like the ‘little sister’ to the sexy and deep Cassis of Tresor Midnight Rose.

This article explains what both Tresor Midnight Rose and Tresor In Love smell like and the difference between them.

Lancôme Trésor Midnight Rose

Tresor Midnight Rose is one of my favourite perfumes. Its a beautiful Cassis perfume; imagine a deep Blackcurrant syrup with a hint of Raspberry and a feminine Rose note.

I wear Tresor Midnight Rose in the evenings and mainly in the autumn and winter months.

For me, this is one of the sexiest and longest lasting perfumes I own. I can rely on it to last all day, in particular I find it lasts well in my hair and on my clothes. I often wake up the next day smelling the scent!

Whats also great about Tresor Midnight Rose is that it can be found at very affordable prices. The Lancôme website often has it on sale.

Lancôme Trésor In Love

Lancôme Tresor In Love is the gentler and innocent younger sister of Lancôme Tresor Midnight Rose.

Tresor in Love is super fruity with notes of Peach, Nectarine and Pear. These are accompanied by a Taif Rose, alongside a feminine and subtle Violet and Jasmine.

I find that Tresor In Love doesn’t last like Tresor Midnight Rose does; it’s much lighter and fresher. Because it’s so fruity I sometimes use it to layer onto of Midnight Rose during the day time. This adds a fresher element and brings out the raspberry in Midnight Rose.

The lasting power and projection are medium for Tresor In Love, so I recommend it for people who are looking for a fruity summery daytime scent.
