There are nine different versions of the Valentino Valentina perfume. This article explains what each Valentina fragrance smells like and where you can buy it.
Before Valentino Voce Viva, the Valentina fragrances, alongside Valentino Donna were probably the most popular Valentino perfumes. Now all except the original Valentina fragrance are discontinued, and I suspect the original will be soon!

Valentino Valentina has an instantly recognisable bottle which was very popular when it was first released in 2011. Nowadays we are used to bottles having flowers and other accessories on (think Marc Jacobs Daisy), but in 2011 Valentino Valentina really stood out.
The scent is a lovely femenine fragrance with Strawberry, Vanilla, and White floral notes. However what makes Valentino Valentina unique as a Truffle perfume note which is warm, cosy and a little bit sexy.
I don’t think Valentino Valentina is discontinued yet but I suspect it will be soon!
Valentino Valentina Assoluto
Valentino Valentina Assoluto is my personal favourite fragrance from the Valentina perfume range.
The Truffle and white floral notes of the original Valentina fragrance are present in Assoluto, but in addition Patchouli, a Madagascan Vanilla and a fruity Peach note have been added which help create strength and support the unique Truffle note.
Valentina Acqua Floreale
A green Mimosa scent is combined with Jasmine and Orange Blossom to create a fresh green floral perfume.
Valentina Oud Assoluto
Valentina Rosa Assoluto
Valentina Rosa Assoluto is a relatively strong woody Rose fragrance. Praline and Patchouli help create depth, and a slightly oriental Turkish Rose is combined with Saffron, Orange Blossom and a fruity Raspberry to create a slightly spicy, oriental take on the original fragrance.
Valentina Rosa Assoluto is discontinued.
Valentino Valentina Pink
Valentino Valentina Pink is definitely my favourite Valentina bottle! The hot ping branding echos the Strawberry and Rose notes which are the heart of the fragrance.
There are hints of Praline and Blackberry but really Valentino Valentina Pink is all about a sweet Strawberry and feminine Rose.
Valentino Valentina Myrrh Assoluto
If you’re looking for an affordable everyday Myrrh fragrance then Valentino Valentina Myrrh Assoluto was a great option when it was released.
There aren’t really any echos of the original Valentina perfume in Valentino Valentina Myrrh Assoluto; apart from the Myrrh the other fragrance notes are Leather and Vanilla.
Valentino Valentina Poudre
Valentino Valentina Poudre is a total powder bomb. Ambrette Musk, Iris and lots of Powder notes make Poudre feel like a make-up room behind the scenes at a theatre. If you’re looking for a super powdery scent then Valentino Valentina Poudre is for you.
Valentino Valentina Blush
The final release in the range, Valentino Valentina Blush is a fun, sweet Vanilla and Cherry scent. Alongside Orange Blossom, these fragrance notes mix to create a lively, innocent and carefree scent. Valentino Valentina Blush also has a cool bright orange bottle!
Valentino Valentina Blush is discontinued but still available here.
