Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Success has talked about her favourite perfumes in the press a couple of times. She also wrote about her perfume preferences on her blog The Tig before it was disbanded. She told The Express Newspaper, “Fragrance is my favourite thing. So much so that if I leave the house and I don’t put any on, I’ll turn around and go back home”.

Jo Malone London Wild Bluebell

Jo Malone London Wild Bluebell is a delicate Bellflower scent; reminiscent of an English country garden in the spring. Dewy green notes and a touch of musk accompany the light floral scent. Wild Bluebell is delicate and feminine; I recommend it as a pretty daytime perfume.

Wild Bluebell was relaunched in 2021 in a limited edition bottle with pretty bluebells on it. Now, the bottle just has a blue lid on it.

Jo Malone London is actually no longer a British brand. Jo Malone sold the company to Estée Lauder over ten years ago, she now has a new brand called Jo Loves.

Jo Malone London Wood Sage & Sea Salt

Meghan Markle has also said she wears Jo Malone London Wood Sage & Sea Salt. This is an aromatic perfume which has a strong Sage note, alongside a salty Seaweed scent which really does smell like the seaside! Initially a sharp Grapefruit note captures the feel of the wind on your face on a breezy English beach, this is then followed by the aquatic and aromatic notes of the ocean.

Oribe Côte d’Azur

Oribe is a niche fragrance brand only available at boutiques and luxury department stores. Their Côte d’Azur fragrance is a sharp citrus and Vetiver fragrance, quite similar to Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue. Vetiver is a woody and green fragrance note which is very unisex, as are the citrus top notes in Oribe Côte d’Azur Eau de Parfum.

I understand that Meghan Markle worked with established British perfume brand Floris London to create a custom scent for her Wedding Day. The Queen was said to wear Floris, and granted the company the Royal Seal which is only awarded to brands which are used by the Royal Family.
