Ariana’s perfume empire passed a $1bn value this year, as her best-selling Cloud fragrance continues to maintain a huge fan base. A week before Christmas 2022 Ariana Grande released two new perfumes; Mod Blush and Mod Vanilla, which are currently exclusively available at Ulta. Ariana Grande’s fragrances are all cruelty-free and vegan, and so Mod is not exception. The Mod perfumes come in a duo pack including each fragrance as well as on their own.
Ariana Grande Mod Vanilla
If you like Ariana Grande Cloud or her God Is A Wiman perfumes then Mod Vanilla is the fragrance for you. It’s a sweet and warm fragrance which uses Vanilla and Coconut alongside a musky Praline to create a fragrance which is reminiscent of Cloud but perhaps a bit sweeter.
I think Mod Vanilla is a good perfume however, it isn’t very original. I feel like we have had a number of these sweet musky scents from Ariana Grande and it would be great to see her release something totally new.
Ariana Grande Mod Blush
Ariana Grande Mod Blush is a sweet, fruity fragrance which is reminiscent of some of her early perfume releases; Sweet Like Candy, and Ari. After a citrus opening note, Raspberry and Passionfruit open the fragrance which remind me a bit of Victoria’s Secret Bombshell. These fruity notes are accompanied by feminine floral heart notes which help its lasting power.
Personally, I think Ariana Grande Mod Vanilla lasts longer than Mod Blush. I also think Mod Vanilla is a classier fragrance and more grown-up. I find the Mod perfume bottles a little odd; they’re definitely not as cool as Cloud and Thank U Next. I’m sure that both fragrances will sell well but I think Ariana Grande Cloud remains my favourite from her range.
