The Ultimate Guide To Every Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Perfume

The original Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Eau de Toilette is a fruity, feminine and fun fragrance suitable for any age group.

Even though the advertising for Bombshell has been known to be quite sexy, I personally don’t find the scent to be grown-up. The main note is Passionfruit which is tropical, and combines with Grapefruit, Strawberry and Pineapple to create a fresh cocktail vibe. A floral Peony note and Vanilla Orchid create a girly heart note. In the UK I recommend Notino as a great value place to buy Bombshell.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell is fun, fruity, and relatively light (being an Eau de Toilette). In 2016 a limited edition Eau de Parfum version was released; this had better lasting power but is now discontinued unfortunately.

Bombshell Summer is a fragrance which Victoria’s Secret released a number of times, as a limited edition summer fragrance.

The scent has the Grapefruit of the original Bombshell perfume, but non of its tropical and fruity DNA. Instead a clean Lily-of-the-valley is the other fragrance note; which creates a fresh, simple, innocently light perfume.

There have been two versions of Bombshell Seduction; the Eau de Toilette was released in 2011 and is now discontinued. Bombshell Seduction Eau de Parfum is still sold and comes in a light pink bottle. In the UK it’s available at Notino, and in the US on Amazon.

The Eau de Toilette was a light Grapefruit, but the Eau De Parfum is completely different; it’s aromatic.

Bombshell Seduction EDP uses Sage and Tuberose to create a fairly strong perfume. There is a slight hint of the original Bombshell scent but its much more sophisticated, and doesn’t have that fruity fun vibe. I think Bombshell Seduction would work well for the office or any serious occasion.

In 2012, a limited edition called Victoria’s Secret Bombshell The Summer Edition was launched in a bottle that reflects the signature Victoria’s Secret Pink stripe. The fragrance smelt very similar to the original Bombshell.

Victoria Secret Bombshell In Love includes one of my favourite fragrance notes, Pear. This fresh fruit is accompanied by a sweeter Raspberry note and a zesty Grapefruit like the original Bombshell. Victoria’s Secret Bombshell In Love is a lighter version of Bombshell and doesn’t last quite as long.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Diamonds Eau De Parfum kept the tropical vibes of the original Bombshell and added a zesty Litchi and some Vanilla Amber. These additions make the fragrance a little bit more sexy; something which is also helped by the fact its an Eau de Parfum too.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Diamonds Eau de Toilette reminds me of Bombshell Summer because it uses Grapefruit and Lily-of-the-valley. A Green Apple note creates a sparkling feeling which had quite a classy feeling.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell In Paradise has a lovely fruity Fig top note which is accompanied by sweet and tropical Passionflower. Exotic and fun, they is a great summer fragrance.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell In Paradise is discontinued but still available at Walmart.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Forever has a very different feel to its fruity or floral Bombshell predecessors. The main note is Lavender which is calming and classy. A woody base adds an almost masculine feel to the scent which combines with Boysenberry to create a unique fragrance.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Pink Diamond was a limited edition, sweeter version of the original Grapefruit and Passionfruit Bombshell fragrance.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshells in Bloom is all about a sweet Red Apple scent; almost like a candy apple. It can still be found at Walmart.

Victoria’s Secret Winter Bombshell has the DNA of the original Bombshell with a Jasmine and Starfruit note added.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell New York is a sexier version of the original Bombshell; a Vanilla and Jasmine add warmth and help it last too.

This limited edition of Bombshell was released to celebrate the famous Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. It has a fresh Lemon top note added to Vanilla and Night-blooming Jasmine; one of my favourite notes (check out my article on the different kinds of Jasmine in perfume).

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Nights was a winter fragrance released for Christmas. It’s a woody, warmer version of the original Bombshell.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Intense has a Cherry note in it, but its quite an artificial, sweet cherry note; almost slightly medicinal.

I don’t think Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Intense has been a particular success.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Holiday is a sweet Pomegranate scent which doesn’t have the depth which Christmas scents often have. Its light and fruity like the original Bombshell perfume.

Bombshell Paradise became the new summer limited of Bombshell; released in 2019 it has the same Grapefruit and Lily-of-the-valley notes as the old Bombshell Summer.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Paradise Eau de Parfum is a stronger version of the Eau de Toilette; it has deeper woody notes as well as the Lily-of-the-valley and Grapefruit notes.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Wild Flower is the most floral in the Bombshell fragrance line. Lotus is the main note (a beautiful fresh aquatic floral which features in fragrances like Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline) alongside a bouquet of Roses.

Bombshell Wild Flower is definitely the best Bombshell perfume for floral fans!

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Passion is probably my favourite in the Bombshell fragrance range. The main note is Cassis which is also the main ingredient in one of my favourite fragrances Lancôme Trésor Midnight Rose.

Bombshell Passion is also an Eau de Parfum so it has good lasting power. I also love the raspberry pink bottle!

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Gold is a Vanilla fragrance. There are signature Bombshell fragrance notes of Litchi and a sugary Peony; but really, it’s all about the Vanilla for Bombshell Gold Eau de Parfum.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Celebration is a sparkling Champagne and fresh Peony so the name ‘Celebration’ is very much appropriate. There are also woody undertones which add a classy base to the fragrance.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Beach has the same Grapefruit and Lily-of-the-valley combination which was in Bombshell Summer and Bombshell Paradise.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Oud is the first in the Bombshell range to embrace an oriental scent. Oud is a deep, woody and slightly spicy fragrance; in Bombshell Oud its combined with Saffron, Suede and Ambroxan to create a really strong, sexy perfume.

I think Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Oud might be the strongest in the entire Bombshell range. Oud is often used in quite expensive perfumes so Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Oud is actually a pretty cost effective way of buying an Oud scent.

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Sundrenched is a sweet Guava Blossom scent which is tropical without being too heavy; ideal for during the day. I love that it’s an Eau de Parfum too so it has some body.

Bombshell Isle is one of the most aquatic perfumes I’ve seen released by Victoria’s Secret. After an initial sweet blast of coconut, the fragrance changes completely and becomes a fresh, airy scent with hints of drift wood. This is a very light fragrance which I recommend for hot summer days.
