Cotton Candy (or Candy Floss as we call it in the UK) isn’t necessarily a fragrance note which you’d expect to be popular in perfumes. However, I’m seeing it included in scents more and more. Personally, I think it is a bit more interesting than a typical Vanilla sweet fragrance base and it’s also more fun. This article outlines the best perfumes which smell like Cotton Candy, or which have a clearly noticeable Cotton Candy fragrance note.

Aquolina Pink Sugar is an iconic Cotton Candy fragrance. This super affordable perfume is often found on Amazon’s best sellers list. It’s one of the sweetest perfumes on the market and really does smell like you’re at a fairground! It can usually be picked up for less than $20; a great price considering Aquolina Pink Sugar has good lasting power and projection.
Lacoste Pour Elle Sparkling
Lacoste Pour Elle Sparkling is a soft Cotton Candy and Macaron fragrance with slightly musky floral undertones that soften the sweetness.
Cute and innocent, I recommend Lacoste Pour Elle Sparkling for a young girl or anyone looking for a soft sweet scent.

Missguided Babe Power
The Misguided perfumes come in unique fizzy drink can shaped bottles. They’re relatively affordable (usually less than £30) and have good lasting power.
Missguided Babe Power combines Candy Floss with Cherry, Pineapple and Orange Blossom to create a sexy, playful fragrance.
Floral Street Wonderland Peony
Floral Street are a British independent perfume brand who create Vegan & Cruelty free fragrances. Wonderland Peony is my favourite from their range; to me it smells like Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet combined with Candy Floss.
Peony is the main note; its a lovely floral scent which is very clean and fresh. The Candy Floss then adds some fun and sweetness to the scent as it develops.
Carolina Herrera 212 Sexy
Cotton Candy and Pink Pepper make Carolina Herrera 212 Sexy the sweetest in the 212 range. There is a slightly powdery spice to the Pink Pepper scent which tends to linger after the Cotton Candy has faded. I recommend Carolina Herrera 212 Sexy for those who are looking for something sweet but not ‘too sweet’.

Demeter Cotton Candy
Demeter Fragrances have hundreds of scents which aim to imitate real life scents. The Demeter Cotton Candy fragrance recreates the fluffy feeling of cotton candy as well as the sugary sweet scent. It’s a calming take on a Cotton Candy fragrance and not overly sweet.
