Lavender is one of the most calming perfume notes. Its these properties which make it great fragrance for body products and home fragrances; often recreating the feeling of a spa. This article outlines the best Lavender perfumes and Lavender products which can be layered with the fragrances to bring out the lavender scent.

YSL Libre
There are four different versions of YSL Libre all of which have Lavender in. Personally, I think the original Libre Eau de Parfum has the strongest Lavender note in, as the others have other notes which can take over from it (my article on the entire YSL Libre perfume range).
YSL Libre is a best selling perfume, helped in part by the use of Dua Lipa as the face of the fragrance, in addition to its good lasting power. The Lavender note is accompanied by some white florals which add femininity. I think the calming vibes of Lavender work well in Libre and create a universal perfume which could be worn anywhere.
Mon Guerlain
The Mon Guerlain range of perfumes have some similarities with the YSL Libre range. The Lavender note is combined with Vanilla and also a floral Iris note; all of which help Mon Guerlain have good projection. There are quite a few other versions of Mon Guerlain; some with rose added and others with fresher notes (my review of the entire Mon Guerlain range).
Jo Malone London Lavender Collection
Jo Malone London released a Lavender collection of fragrances for Mother’s Day 2021. Currently their Lavender fragrances include; Silver Birch & Lavender Cologne, Wisteria & Lavender, Lilac Lavender, Amber & Lavender and the new Lavender & Moonflower. There are also home fragrances, body products and sets available.
Burberry Brit Rhythm
Burberry Brit Rhythm for Her is one of the many flankers of Burberry Brit which all come in a similar shaped bottle. Burberry Brit Rhythm is a clean, musky Lavender perfume which has good strength to it despite being an Eau de Toilette.
Burberry Brit Rhythm is discontinued but is still available at The Fragrance Shop, Walgreens, and Walmart.
Parle Moi De Parfum Haute Provence
The niche fragrance brand Parle Moi De Parfum have created a really unique Lavender perfume which has an aquatic quality created by Melon and Watermelon top notes. This unconventional combination works really well by adding a fresh, fruity feel to the Lavender note. Lavender can feel quite heavy sometimes and so I really like the freshness of Parle Moi De Parfum Haute Provence which make it perfect for the summertime.
L’Occitane Lavender Collection
L’Occitane en Provence are famous for their Lavender ingredients and scents. Provence has many Lavender fields which fill the air of the entire area with their warm, aromatic scent.
They have multiple body products scented with Lavender which can help layer your main fragrance and bring out the Lavender note. They’re many refillable options too which save money and plastic.
Cowshed Lavender Body Products & Home Fragrance
Cowshed Spa started in Lavender Hill, North London. I have visited their Spa in Cornwall and the scent of the Cowshed products has stayed with me ever since. They use a gorgeous blend of Lavender and aromatic herbs to create such a calming scent
The White Company White Lavender
I always love popping into The White Company shops because they scent them with their aromatic fragrances, often White Lavender.
British Airways have partnered with The White Company and offer their lavender products including the pillow spray in their business class. I have the pillow spray and think its perfect for getting relaxed as I fall asleep.
The Ritual of Jing
The Rituals ranges make great gifts, I’ve been getting the gift sets for a few years now. Their green range called Rituals of Jing is a unisex, woody Lavender fragrance which has a calming aroma.
