A Guide To The Best Perfumes For Spring

Jimmy Choo has quite a selection of fragrances in their range, many of which can be found at affordable prices.

For Spring I recommend Jimmy Choo Blossom. The hot pink perfume bottle perfectly represents its ‘pink’ fragrance notes. Initially you get a sweet zesty raspberry and red berry vibe. This is followed by one of my favourite perfume notes; sweat pea. Fun & feminine, Jimmy Choo Blossom is young at heart, playful and ideal for a fresh Spring day.

I also highly recommend Jimmy Choo Floral, which in my view, should be called Jimmy Choo Fruity. Nectarine and tangerine are the main notes here accompanied by fruity floral scents of apricot blossom and sweet pea.

Even though Jimmy Choo Floral is an Eau de Toilette I actually find it lasts well and performs like an Eau de Parfum.

This is probably my second favourite in the range after the original Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum.

Versace Bright Crystal Eau de Toilette is a lovely fresh lotus perfume with a beautiful peony & magnolia bouquet. There is a hint of a fresh citrus and fruity pomegranate, but predominantly this is a super fresh, aquatic floral fragrance. The Absolu version is slightly stronger and has a fun raspberry note added.

I really recommend Versace Bright Crystal as an affordable dupe for Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, and a more affordable alternative to Chanel Chance Eau Tendre.

In addition, Versace Yellow Diamond is an affordable bright citrus floral scent. After an initial blast of lemon the fragrance turns into a clean floral perfume where mimosa, freesia, water lily and African orange flower are the stars of the show.

Versace Yellow Diamond also comes in an Intense version, which I recommend over the original as it lasts longer, though it is usually slightly more expensive.

If you are looking for something a bit more floral than Versace Bright Crystal then Versace Yellow Diamond is for you. I think it’s a fairly safe gift as it’s pretty hard to dislike lemon and white floral notes!

Elie Saab Le Parfum Lumière is my favourite Elie Saab perfume bottle.

Its sparkling golden glass stands out and perfectly represents the sparkling feel I get from the fragrance.

Elie Saab Le Parfum Lumière is very similar to the original Elie Saab Le Parfum, in that Orange Blossom is the main note. There is slightly more fruity Orange vibes in the mix but personally, I think the scent is 95% the same.

Elie Saab have some beautiful fragrances, if you’re not familiar with them I’ve explained the range in my detailed Elie Saab Le Parfum article.

AERIN Wild Geranium certainly does smell like Geraniums. For me, this is a beautiful ‘English Country Garden’ scent; the Geranium is accompanied by Tuberose, Narcissus, Peony, Orange Blossom and Rose to create a green floral bouquet.

There is a classiness to AERIN Wild Geranium which comes with these type of floral scents; I can imagine one of the Royals wearing this!

Ambroxan is used to add a slightly creamy feel to the dry-down. There is also a fresh lemon in the opening note but this soon fades to reveal the floral bouquet.

AERIN Wild Geranium also comes in a Body Cream and Purse Spray.

There are currently five different versions of Miss Dior. If you’re willing to pay Dior prices, then there are so really pretty options in the range for Spring.

Miss Dior Eau de Toilette is an ideal Spring perfume. A super fresh Peony and Rose are complimented by a Blood Orange top note. It’s feminine while being refreshing.

If you’re a fan of Lily-Of-The-Valley the new 2021 version of Miss Dior Eau de Parfum is also a nice Spring perfume option. Although I find the longevity isn’t great for the price.

Maison Margiela Replica Springtime In The Park is one of the most feminine fragrances in the Replica perfume range. It evokes the feeling of a spring morning walking through a park through a Lily-Of-The-Valley fragrance note combined with a fresh Pear.

I find Springtime In The Park is fresh and light and lasts an hour or so. I’d recommend wearing this inside where the fragrance will be more noticeable.

Its definitely a daytime scent and ideal for the spring (as the name suggests!).
