Elie Saab Le Parfum

Elie Saab Le Parfum is one of my favourite fragrances. Its beautiful African Orange Flower scent is a rare refreshing floral which for me creates one of the classiest designer fragrances on the market.

Orange Blossom is a sparkling scent which reminds me of champagne. This beautiful perfume note lasts well and works perfectly with the Jasmine that accompanies it in Elie Saab Le Parfum.

There is a soft Patchouli undertone as well as a Honey perfume note; however I wouldn’t say this was a sweet fragrance.

I recommend Elie Saab Le Parfum for any occasion. It has a romantic feel which is ideal for weddings, but wouldn’t be out of place at any occasion.

Because Elie Saab Le Parfum is over ten years old now, it can usually be found discounted. I recommend LOOKFANTASTIC (use code LFTFSOKI for 20% off) if you’re in the UK and Europe. In the US, it’s harder to find, but they do have it at Walmart.

Elie Saab Le Parfum Eau de Toilette

Elie Saab Le Parfum Eau de Toilette followed the Eau de Parfum in 2012 however, it’s now been discontinued.

It was much lighter than the original both in fragrance makeup and in lasting power. The Patchouli and Jasmine were removed and replaced with Orange Mandarin Blossom and Gardenia which are softer white floral notes.

Recently, Elie Saab Le Parfum Eau de Toilette has disappeared from the internet and doesn’t appear to be available anywhere.

Elie Saab Le Parfum Intense

The next release in the range was Elie Saab Le Parfum Intense. Again this perfume is discontinued and impossible to find online.

https://rstyle.me/+udn9qbdW5HIrlBq8IB4DJgAs you’d expect Elie Saab Le Parfum Intense is a strong fragrance and it was also sweeter than the original; with the honey note emphasised.

Elie Saab Le Parfum L’eau Couture

Elie Saab Le Parfum L’eau Couture was an incredibly popular Almond perfume.

There aren’t many fragrances which have Almond as the main perfume note, so its a shame that Elie Saab Le Parfum L’eau Couture has been discontinued (it is still available here).

The Almond perfume note is accompanied by the signature Orange Blossom of the original Elie Saab Le Parfum and a hint of vanilla.

Even though Elie Saab Le Parfum L’eau Couture is an Eau de Toilette, the Almond note helps it last and I think it performs like an Eau de Parfum.

Elie Saab Le Parfum L’Edition Argent

Elie Saab Le Parfum L'Edition Argent
Elie Saab Le Parfum L’Edition Argent

Elie Saab Le Parfum L’Edition Argent was a limited edition version of the original Elie Saab Le Parfum scent.

The notes are the same but with a different emphasis. The Honey and woody fragrance notes in the base are stronger, making Elie Saab Le Parfum L’Edition Argent a bit more sexy and wintery than the original.

Elie Saab Le Parfum L’Edition Argent is discontinued and no longer available.

Elie Saab Le Parfum Rose Couture

Elie Saab Le Parfum Rose Couture, now discontinued, was one of my most recommended rose scents.

The fragrance is a beautiful floral bouquet comprised of plenty of fresh Rose combined with Peony and Orange Blossom.

At first the top notes come across with a fresh Litchi and Peach and Bergamot. These are quickly followed by the floral notes and finally a hint of Patchouli and Caramel.

Like L’eau Couture, Rose Couture is an Eau de Toilette but with a few good sprays I find the lasting power can be like that of an Eau de Parfum.

It’s such a shame that Elie Saab Le Parfum Rose Couture has been discontinued, however it is still available here.

Elie Saab Le Parfum Eclat d’Or

Elie Saab Le Parfum Eclat d'Or
Elie Saab Le Parfum Eclat d’Or

Elie Saab Le Parfum Eclat d’Or was a limited edition which is discontinued.

The scent had a sweet orange opening which combines with an amber floral heart to create something sexier and more mysterious than the original.

Elie Saab Le Parfum Nuit Noor

Elie Saab Le Parfum Nuit Noor is a strong oriental take on Elie Saab Le Parfum.

An incense note is immediately noticeable and lasts all the way through the top, middle and base notes.

The scent is also very woody and warm with what is almost like a spicy burnt wood feel.

There isn’t any Orange Blossom or African Orange Flower in Elie Saab Le Parfum Nuit Noor so it feels very different to the original.

I’d recommend Elie Saab Le Parfum Nuit Noor for the evenings and winter time. It’s comforting and a classic woody oriental with good lasting power, without being overwhelming.

Elie Saab Le Parfum Edition Feuilles d’Or

Elie Saab Le Parfum Edition Feuilles d'Or
Elie Saab Le Parfum Edition Feuilles d’Or

Elie Saab Le Parfum Edition Feuilles d’Or is another limited edition, and like Nuit Noor it focused on woody notes.

An Amberwood perfume note dominated over the signature Orange Blossom again making the fragrance oriental.

Elie Saab Le Parfum Edition Feuilles d’Or is discontinued.

Elie Saab Le Parfum Resort Collection

I loved the Elie Saab Le Parfum Resort Collection fragrances when they were released. Both a blue and a red version were brought out in the summer time, but only the red one appears to still be available.

I own the red Elie Saab Le Parfum Resort Collection and find it very similar to the original. It has a redcurrant top note which makes it a little bit fruity but essentially this is just like the original Elie Saab Le Parfum.

Despite it being an Eau de Toilette I find it performs like an Eau de Parfum.

Elie Saab Le Parfum In White

Elie Saab Le Parfum In White is a popular Wedding perfume. I find it sweeter than the original Elie Saab Le Parfum, probably because of the Red Berry top notes and the Peach heart note.

The Orange Blossom and Jasmine from the original are still the main notes but the main difference compared to the original is a slightly amber base, and the sweet top notes.

I feel it’s less ‘pure’ and simple than the original, almost a fragrance of three stages.

It has great lasting power and I do recommend it for Weddings, summertime and any time of the day.

Elie Saab Le Parfum Royal

Elie Saab Le Parfum Royal is an oriental Rose fragrance.

A Turkish Rose and Bulgarian Rose are the stars of the show, in addition to a strong oriental Patchouli note.

Amber and Sandalwood support the base notes while Mandarin Orange is the only top note.

Personally, I find Elie Saab Le Parfum Royal too oriental for my tastes but I highly recommend it for oriental fragrance fans.

It smells similar to many niche oriental Rose fragrances which cost three or four times more.

The bottle is also super pretty with the Elie Saab spiral pattern

Elie Saab Le Parfum Essentiel

My impression of Elie Saab Le Parfum Essentiel is that its a ‘younger sister’ to the original Elie Saab Le Parfum.

Orange Blossom and Mandarin Orange are the main notes, but these are combined with a pretty and delicate Gardenia note.

The Patchouli is not as noticeable as in other versions and there isn’t any Honey included.

I recommend Elie Saab Le Parfum Essentiel for the day time. In addition, anyone who finds the original too strong then this could be a more subtle way of getting the signature Orange Blossom scent.

Elie Saab Le Parfum Lumière

Elie Saab Le Parfum Lumière is my favourite Elie Saab perfume bottle.

Its sparkling golden glass stands out and perfectly represents the sparkling feel I get from the fragrance.

Elie Saab Le Parfum Lumière is very similar to the original Elie Saab Le Parfum. There is slightly more fruity Orange vibes in the mix but personally, I think the scent is 95% the same.

If you’re a fan of the original then why not try Elie Saab Le Parfum Lumière as a change, the bottle is prettier!

Elie Saab Le Parfum Lumière Perfume Review

Elie Saab Le Parfum Bridal

As Elie Saab is a designer famous for his bridal wear, it makes sense for a wedding perfume to be released; in fact I had often recommended the original Elie Saab Le Parfum to brides.

This version of the fragrance adds a ylang-ylang fragrance note which makes the scent even more floral and reduces the level of orange in Elie Saab Le Parfum Bridal when compared to the original version.
