Emporio Armani Diamonds Eau De Parfum

Emporio Armani Diamonds Eau De Parfum is an iconic ‘2010s’ perfume. It’s a unique sweet aquatic scent is easily identifiable.

At first the top notes of Raspberry and Litchi dominate the scent. But don’t be fooled, there is more to Diamonds than fruit notes.

As the fragrance develops a heart note of Fressia is noticeable, accompanied by Rose, Patchouli and Lily-of-the-valley.

Eventually, a slightly woody vanilla note mixes with the fruits to create a fresh but sweet perfume; an unusual combination.

What has made Diamonds such a success is its lasting power; it’s great value for money if you want something you can rely on.

Emporio Armani Diamonds Eau De Parfum can usually be found discounted due to its age. I think its well worth a try, especially if you like Litchi perfumes.

The original Emporio Armani Diamonds Eau De Parfum is the only perfume in the range which is still produce, all the other versions have been discontinued.

Emporio Armani Diamonds was temporarily released in an Intense version and a lighter Eau de Toilette version; both are now discontinued.

Emporio Armani Diamonds Rose

Emporio Armani Diamonds Rose keeps the DNA of the original Diamonds perfume. It emphasises the Rose fragrance note and mixed with Blackcurrant and Raspberry top notes creates a sweet Rose scent.

Eventually, Diamonds Rose fades into a musky feminine rose perfume which feels appropriate for the day time, but not strong enough for evening.

Diamonds Rose is an Eau de Toilette so its relatively light and only lasts a couple of hours.

Emporio Armani Rose is discontinued but still available here.

Emporio Armani Diamonds Violet

Emporio Armani Diamonds Violet is another feminine take on the original Diamonds perfume. The Violet note is noticeable but isn’t very strong in the way it can be in violet scents.

The signature Litchi and Raspberry top notes are joined by Passionfruit which, for me, brings out the Litchi.

Diamonds Violet is an Eau de Parfum so it has a bit more strength than Diamonds Rose, but it isn’t as strong as the original Diamonds Eau de Parfum.

Emporio Armani Diamonds Violet is discontinued but still available here.

Emporio Armani Diamonds Black Carat

Emporio Armani Diamonds Black Carat is the strongest perfume in the Diamonds range. It also has the most different scent to the original Diamonds.

Diamonds Black Carat is an oriental amber fragrance. The scent is a relatively simple Benzoin, Vanilla and Rose which is strong and lasting.

I’d recommend Emporio Armani Diamonds Black Carat for the evening and winter time. It’s deep, dark and sexy; perhaps it could also be layered with another version of Diamonds to add depth.

Emporio Armani Diamonds Black Carat is discontinued but still available here.

Emporio Armani Diamonds Club

Emporio Armani Diamonds Club is a sexy limited edition, which I assume is aimed at someone who goes clubbing.

It’s a classic chypre perfume; Patchouli base, Rose heart and Orange top note.

I do think it could be worn for clubbing, but I also think it would work fine for the day time too.

It sort of reminds me of a ‘younger’ version of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle (which has similar perfume notes).

Emporio Armani Diamonds Club is discontinued but still available here.

Emporio Armani Diamonds Summer Fraiche

Emporio Armani Diamonds Summer Fraiche is a limited edition Eau De Toilette.

Its a fresh watery Apple scent which has a Peony undertone. Peony is one of the freshest floral perfume notes so it works well in a summer scent.

Emporio Armani Diamonds Summer Fraiche is discontinued but available here.
