Giorgio Armani My Way Perfumes: Which One is Right For You?

My Way is a gorgeous Tuberose fragrance with undertones of Orange and Orange Blossom. It’s great for lasting, feminine without being too ‘flowery’ and I really can’t recommend it highly enough.

Giorgio Armani released the original My Way Eau de Parfum unfortunately in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. Even more unfortunate was the fact that their marketing campaign was all about travel #ArmaniMyWay #IAmWhatILive. However, I really do love the campaign as it’s all about an independent woman and the scent she embodies.

My Way is available in the UK here, in the US here, Canada and Australia.

With the beautiful Adria Arjona as the face of the fragrance, the My Way commercial shows her travelling the world, being herself, and doing things ‘My Way’. I really liked the look and feel of the campaign, as well as the fact that it was all about an independent woman not about wearing a fragrance to attract a man…

My Way Intense keeps the signature feel of the original. Often intense versions are quite different to the original perfume, but here they have kept true to the strong tuberose note. The main change is the removal of the jasmine and cedar wood, to be replaced with sandalwood. The bergamot too has been swapped for a bitter orange.

Personally, I found My Way Intense to have a slightly aromatic feel to its composition. The removal of the bergamot has taken away the fresh element, and the bitterness of the bitter orange feels a bit too much for me. The sandalwood is probably what’s driving the aromatic sense I get, and it mixes with the vanilla to make this fragrance feel deeper and woodier than My Way original.

2022 sees the release of the new Giorgio Armani My Way Nacre Limited Edition. My Way Nacre contains the same fragrance as the original My Way but with an added pearlescent shimmer.

Ideal for summer months when you might be showing more skin than usual, these type of fragrances add a sheen to your skin which illuminates and perfects its appearance.

The liquid and packaging has a pearly finish with helps it stand out from the original and My Way Intense.

My Way Floral is all about a fresh Orange scent. The signature Tuberose note is still included but its the Orange Blossom which is allowed to be the star of the show, supported by citrus and Tunisian Neroli.

The frosted glass bottle of My Way Floral indicates the softer feel the scent has when compared to the original and My Way Intense.

I think My Way Floral is ideal for the day time and the summer months when you want the refreshing vibes which the citrus brings, and the femininity of the Orange Blossom.

2023 saw the release of the 4th version of Giorgio Armani My Way. My Way Parfum is a concentrated take on the original scent. It keeps the signature Tuberose and Orange Blossom of the original, but in addition warmer notes of Iris and Ambrette Musk create a much deeper, winter fragrance.

My Way Parfum is heavier and more concentrated than the Eau de Parfum and Eau de Parfum Intense. As a result it’s a bit more expensive but can be reliable upon to last many hours.

My Way Nectar comes with a new pink lid which really sets it apart from the previous versions of this fragrance. This is a fresh and fruity summer perfumes with a dominant pear note which I love!

The white floral notes which characterise the original My Way are much less noticeable in My Way Nectar. Instead this is a lighter, refreshing perfume which means it doesn’t project as much as the other versions; I recommend it for the summer.
