Juliette Has a Gun Lipstick Fever Eau de Parfum has a powdery fragrance. It reminds me of Chanel’s lipstick. It has a sweet & sour scent combined with a woody vanilla and powdery raspberry fragrance notes. This distinctive fragrance is definitely not everyone’s cup of tea, it is a heavy fragrance. I like how it exudes from the opening blend of violet, raspberry and iris. It has good longevity and projection. Its intimate and complex nature of fragrance makes it an appealing date night perfume!

H&M Lipstick
H&M Lipstick is by far the most affordable perfumes that smells like makeup! It’s also my favorite H&M fragrance; from the cute pink bottle to the composition, it all just fits.
H&M Lipstick has a sweet, waxy, fruity, cherry lip gloss scent that takes me back to my teenage days. Considering its an Eau de Toilette it has pretty good projection and longevity too.
H&M Lipstick is available in the US, UK, France, DE, AT, DK, HU, NL, NO, FI, PO, SE, and the rest of the world.
Gucci Guilty Love Pour Femme
In my view Gucci Guilty Love Pour Femme smells like traditional makeup from the 1960s or 70s. Gucci Guilty perfumes tend to all have a powdery undertone created by a violet fragrance note. Gucci Guilty Love also has some more floral notes in it which create a very feminine vibe. The longevity is good and if you love powdery perfumes I recommend snapping Gucci Guilty Love up because its been discontinued. I’ve found it on the Walmart website and at John Lewis.
L’Artisan Parfumeur’s Drôle de Rose
Drôle de Rose by L’Artisan Parfumeur is another classic powdery makeup scent. The fragrance has a calming and uplifting faint rose scent that is light and refreshing. Also, rather than a fruity cherry base note, Drôle de Rose fades to a sweet, warm leathery base which makes it a bit more serious than some of the other perfumes which smell like makeup.
In the US, L’Artisan Parfumeur fragrances are available at Saks Fifth Avenue. Harrods and Selfridges also stock the range and they have international shipping.

Frederic Malle Lipstick Rose
Lipstick Rose is one of the more famous Frederic Malle fragrances from this niche brand. Th composition is a fusion of an intense and light-hearted fragrance notes; blending violets with rose, musk and a grapefruit opening. It is a must try for those who want an intense makeup scent experience!
Estée Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge Gloss
Modern Muse Le Rouge Gloss really effectively captured the scent of lip gloss and I was so sad when it was discontinued! The fragrance used rose notes with a lipstick wax and tart cherry scent in the background. I do get pink pepper notes in the dry-down with sweet patchouli scent but it doesn’t overwhelm me rather I think it adds to its unique blend. It had great sillage and longevity too!

Prada Candy Gloss
Prada Candy Gloss is a fun fruity fragrance which smells just like a cherry lip gloss. Candy Gloss is one of the lighter fragrances in this list and so I recommend it for Spring and Summer. It opens with almond notes mixed with sour cherry which has a really lovely sweet scent. I personally recommend this for anyone who is looking for an everyday light makeup fragrance.

Glossier You
Glossier You is the only fragrance from the Glossier makeup brand and it fits perfectly into their collection. The perfume opens with airy musky notes, and fades to a buttery, light floral scent on my skin before leaving a powdery base note. I find this perfume pretty and feminine, and this is definitely a perfume for the musk lovers.
Guerlain Insolence Eau de Parfum
Guerlain Insolence Eau de Parfum is famous for it’s powdery ‘Parma Violet’ scent. When you first spray Insolence you are immediately taken to childhood memories of Parma Violet sweets. As the fragrance develops an Iris quickly became more prominent followed by a powdery dry down. Guerlain Insolence gives me the vibe of gothic makeup/ dark violet scented lipstick fused with a dark rosey shaded blush. If you love straight violets and iris you will enjoy this fragrance.
