Viva La Juicy must be the most successful Juicy Couture perfume. Although it has been out since 2008, the unique scent and longevity of the fragrance mean that it still sells well and I can’t imagine it being discontinued. There are a lot of different versions and flankers of Viva La Juicy, this article explains what they smell like and the difference between them all.

Viva La Juicy

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy is an iconic perfume. Released in 2008, it has continued to be a great selling perfume due to its signature scent and fabulous lasting power.

Viva La Juicy is a sweet Caramel and Berry delight which fades into a warm vanilla essence and mandarin orange perfume.

Released when I was in High School, whenever I smell Viva La Juicy, I’m instantly taken back to those days.

Even though there is a young and carefree feel to the branding and the use of berry and sweet notes, this is absolutely a sexy perfume.

Intoxicating, slightly heady and instantly memorable, Juicy Couture hit the nail on the head with Viva La Juicy.

Any lovers of Caramel perfume (e.g. Prada Candy or Viktor & Rolf Bonbon) would love this fragrance, and love the price too; as it’s been out for a while Viva La Juicy can be found at some great prices.

In the USA it can be found at Ulta here, or in the UK and Europe I recommend getting it from AllBeauty which often has the range close to half price.

Viva La Juicy Petals Please

Viva La Juicy Petals Please, released in 2022, is a fragrance which focuses on an airy Water Lily. This really is an explosion of floral notes including; Pink Freesia, Magnolia, Jasmine, Gardenia, and Rose Water. The Vanilla and Caramel DNA of Viva La Juicy is still there in the base notes, which start to come through after the initial floral burst.

Viva La Juicy Petals Please is available in the US at Ulta and Amazon, and Boots in the UK.

Viva La Juicy Neon

The latest release in the Viva LA Juicy perfume range is Viva La Juicy Neon which was released in 2021.

This perfume has very little in common with the original Viva La Juicy. This is a light, zesty Grapefruit scent ideal for summer.

The Grapefruit note is made slightly sweet, like a candied Grapefruit rind, through a Tonka Bean note which adds warmth.

If you find the original Viva La Juicy too strong or too sweet then you might like Viva La Juicy Neon.

I think this would also be ideal for humid climates, when you want a fresh citrus perfume.

Viva La Juicy Pink Couture

Viva La Juicy Pink Couture is made for Watermelon lovers. Alongside, Strawberry these two fruity notes make up the main scents which are instantly noticeable.

The signature Caramel, Praline and vanilla of the original Viva La Juicy are very much still present, making Viva La Juicy Pink Couture feel like a tropical take on the signature scent.

, Praline and vanilla of the original Viva La Juicy are very much still present, making Viva La Juicy Pink Couture feel like a tropical take on the signature scent.

I find that Pink Couture doesn’t last quite as long as the original Viva La Juicy; perhaps it could be best used to layer with the original to add a sweeter Strawberry and Watermelon vibe.

Viva La Juicy Le Bubbly

Viva La Juicy Le Bubbly is inspired by champagne. There is even a pink bubbly base to the fragrance; something you don’t see very often!

Again the signature sweet and warm praline base is recognisable in the scent. This is complimented with a sparkling champagne fragrance note and a fresh blood orange which gives the perfume a kick. The fruity wild berries of the original are also included.

In the end, Viva La Juicy Le Bubbly ends up being a lighter version of the original. A bit like Pink Couture, I think original fans would like this as a lighter option; perhaps for the summer or the day time.

Viva La Juicy Pink Luxe

Viva La Juicy Pink Luxe

Viva La Juicy Pink Luxe was a limited edition from Juicy Couture. It contains the original Viva La Juicy fragrance, contained in a unique bottle covered in pink diamonds.

Viva La Juicy Bowdacious

Viva La Juicy Bowdacious is a fun Coconut fragrance. A super tropical perfume which reminds me of Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess, Bowdacious doesn’t have the intense sweetness of Viva La Juicy.

Instead there is an initial fresh Melon, Pear and Orange top note, which is accompanied by Tiare flower and Jasmine.

The perfume then dries down to become warm Tonka Bean and Coconut.

Unlike some Coconut fragrances like Ariana Grande Cloud or Dolce Garden, Viva La Juicy Bowdacious is a soft coconut. As a result the longevity isn’t as strong but it doesn’t have any sickliness to it which some people get from strong coconut scents.

Viva La Juicy Luxe Pure

Definitely one of the coolest perfume bottles in the Viva La Juicy fragrance range, Viva La Juicy Luxe Pure is another limited edition bottle containing the original scent.

The ‘Pure’ versions of Viva La Juicy like Luxe Pure are slightly more concentrated than the normal Eau de Parfum fragrances. As a result you should find that this lasts a bit better than the original and is more refined.

Viva La Juicy Pure Parfum

Viva La Juicy Pure Parfum is another limited edition bottle with the original scent in. Again, being a ‘Pure’ version it is a bit more concentrated than Viva La Juicy Eau de Parfum.

Viva La Juicy Soiree

Viva La Juicy Soiree doesn’t really have anything in common with the original Viva La Juicy.

This is actually a Kiwi fragrance, which has a sharp and fruity tart top note.

After a while the Kiwi note does fade, and instead a slightly fruity but predominantly floral note emerges; made up of Jasmine and Water Lily.

Essentially, Viva La Juicy Soiree is a tale of two halves. The Kiwi top note is unusual (Britney Spears Fantasy is unique because of its strong Kiwi) but the floral notes which follow are reasonably generic and nondescript.

This is a light perfume and doesn’t have any of the warmth or sweetness of the original.

Viva La Juicy Glacé

Viva La Juicy Glacé (French for ice cream) is a fun pear sorbet fragrance.

The sorbet note makes this a very refreshing perfume, ideal for humid weather.

There is a hint of white florals and vanilla in the scent, but the fresh pear sorbet is what Viva La Juicy Glacé is all about.

This could be nice to layer with the original to add a fresher feel. Worn on its own I wouldn’t expect it to last longer than an hour or two.

Viva La Juicy Sucre

Viva La Juicy Sucre
Viva La Juicy Sucre

Viva La Juicy Sucre (French for sugar) is the sweetest version of Viva La Juicy.

Imagine walking into a cake shop, and you are close to what Viva La Juicy Sucre smells like.

Cream, Chocolate, Vanilla and Almond make the scent incredibly sweet.

If you want to smell like a cupcake then this is the perfume for you! Imagine Aqualina Pink Sugar..but stronger.

Viva La Juicy Extrait de Parfum

Viva La Juicy Extrait de Parfum
Viva La Juicy Extrait de Parfum

Viva La Juicy Extrait de Parfum is a limited edition bottle containing the original Viva La Juicy Scent.

Usually, ‘Extrait de Parfum’s are stronger than the original Eau de Parfum but I personally don’t find much difference between the two.

Viva La Juicy Rose Couture

As the name would suggest, Viva La Juicy Rose Couture is indeed a Rose fragrance.

The pretty and delicate Rose is made fresh with the addition of Pear, Mandarin Orange and Peony notes.

Romantic, uplifting and innocent, Viva La Juicy Rose is probably the classiest scent in the range.

It doesn’t have the sexiness that the original has with its sweet caramel base, so I’d recommend this for a young girl as well as for any rose fans.

Viva La Juicy Gold Couture

Rich Caramel and Vanilla notes make Viva La Juicy Gold Couture an incredibly strong and warm interpretation of the original Viva La Juicy.

Most of the fragrance notes are the same but the Berry notes, so prominent in the original, are much less noticeable over the Caramel.

I believe Viva La Juicy Gold Couture is still a best seller and is loved by fans of the original, as well as Vanilla fans.

It’s one of those perfumes which you would never guess is made by Juicy Couture. I think you could easily tell people that the perfume was a niche and expensive brand and nobody would question you.

Viva La Juicy So Intense

As the name suggests, this is a more intense and stronger version of the original Viva La Juicy.

Although its discontinued so can be very hard to find.

Viva La Juicy Luxe

Viva La Juicy Luxe is a limited edition bottle containing the original Viva La Juicy fragrance.

Viva La Juicy Noir

Viva La Juicy Noir takes the original Viva La Juicy formulation and majors on the Berry notes.

It reminds me of Victoria’s Secret fragrance mists which contain a lot of berry notes.

Even though you can smell the Caramel notes of the original, they’re nowhere near as strong.

Viva La Juicy Noir doesn’t last as long as the original, instead you get the sweet and tart Berry notes for a couple of hours before it fades.

Viva La Juicy La Fleur

Viva La Juicy La Fleur is a slightly lighter version of the original Viva La Juicy. The floral heart notes and a Red Berry top note come through against that signature warm Caramel base note which isn’t as strong as in the original.

Viva La Juicy Nice Stuff For Nice Girl

Viva La Juicy Nice Stuff For Nice Girl is supposed to have Peach and Blackcurrant in, but really it smells the same as the original Viva La Juicy.
