Aquolina Pink Sugar
The first thing that comes to mind when I think of sweet perfumes is Pink Sugar by Aquolina. Everything about this fragrance, from the bottle, which is adorable and looks like a candy stick, to the fragrance notes themselves of raspberry, cotton candy, caramel and vanilla, scream of sweetness. This fragrance feels quite nostalgic, reminding me of fairs and carnivals where the smell of cotton candy and caramel abounds.
Britney Spears Fantasy
Britney Spears Fantasy, her first fragrance, is housed in a bright pink bottle and has a sugary cupcake vibe which feels like I’m inside a pastry shop. It has fruity notes of kiwi and litchi but the main notes are vanilla cupcake, white chocolate and orchid, lending a warm and sweet sensation that is more tuned towards a young adult audience.
SOKI LONDON Empress
My first fragrance, Empress is a vegan & cruelty free gourmand perfume that celebrates the sweetness of strawberries. This fruity top note is supported by sweet popcorn undertones and a patchouli base which helps the fragrance have unparalleled lasting power.
Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme Intense
One of the unexpected sweet gems in the world of perfume is Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme Intense; a wintery marshmallow fragrance with impeccable longevity. It’s extremely cosy and perfect for cold weather. It has notes of orange blossom, tuberose and marshmallow which blend well to create a sweet warmth for those frosty days. Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme Intense is perfectly sweet, sophisticated and super addictive.
Emporio Armani Because Its You
Emporio Armani Because It’s You is a transformative scent that goes from girly to grown up as it develops. This fragrance has notes of raspberry, rose, vanilla and amberwood. The raspberry feels like a fresh raspberry in the initial spray but as it dries down, it turns sweeter and richer. I recommend this one for a date night or night out!
Because It’s You is discontinued but can still be found at Walmart in the US, and Sephora in the UK.
Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau So Sweet
If you haven’t guessed it from the name already, Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau So Sweet is an extremely sweet perfume. It’s a candied berry scent, comprised of raspberry, blackberry, daisy and sugar. When a perfume has sugar as a note, you best believe it’s going to smell like candy! This is an eau de toilette, so despite the sweetness it is quite light and unfortunately has a limited longevity. The bottle is adorable and ideal for pink perfume bottle collectors.
Ariana Grande Sweet Like Candy
Ariana Grande Sweet Like Candy; the name says it all! This gourmand perfume is candy in a bottle. It has notes of blackberry, pear, whipped cream, marshmallow and honeysuckle. It is almost cloyingly sweet, although the fruity notes do take the edge off slightly.
Beyoncé Pulse
Another celebrity addition to the sweet mix is Beyoncé Pulse which is a lovely citrus, gourmand perfume with notes of curacao, bergamot, orchid, vanilla and musk. Its sweet but fresh at the same time and quite soothing. I think this a great summer perfume, it has good longevity for the affordable price tag and is perfect for heat and humidity.
Beyoncé Pulse is discontinued but cam be found at Walmart in the US and Sephora in the UK.
Bath & Body Champagne Toast
Candy fruit is the vibe I get from Champagne Toast by Bath & Body Works. This famous fragrance mist has top notes of champagne and tangerine, heart notes of nectarine, passionfruit and blackcurrant. This is perhaps one of my favourite sweet perfumes, and has great longevity and sillage. The bottle is so pretty, it looks like a chandelier and does great justice to the gem of a fragrance inside.
Ariana Grande Thank U, Next
Ariana Grande Thank U, Next comes in a beautiful pink heart-shaped bottle which is unique and daring. The fragrance is equally gorgeous with notes of raspberry, coconut and macarons. This can be likened to a sweet raspberry pastry. I love how you can almost taste the ingredients and the coconut adds a lovely warm undertone which completes it.
Ariana Grande Ari
The first release of Ariana Grande line of fragrances was Ari, a floral fruity gourmand perfume with notes of raspberry, grapefruit, vanilla orchid, marshmallow and musk. It’s fun, flirty, feminine and for all. This is quite long lasting and it stays strong throughout.
Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy
Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy is a fruit filled fragrance with plum, sour cherry, raspberry, iris and vanilla. It is sweet and sugary but not overpowering, a delicate balance exists between fruit and sweetness. I find Midnight Fantasy exciting, exotic and above all fantastic for lasting; it lasts on my clothes until the next day!

Viktor & Rolf BonBon
Viktor & Rolf Bonbon is a fragrance housed in a pink bottle that is shaped like a cute bow and works extremely well as a gift. This is a decadent, caramel scent with notes of peach, orange that add freshness to the sweet and warm caramel. It is a great one for a cold night out, very good for lasting and definitely a noticeable fragrance.
Prada Candy
Candy by Prada is on the same caramel sweetness track as BonBon, however unlike Bonbon, which has some fruity notes in, Prada Candy is all about caramel, with slight powdery notes too. It has a warm musk base which makes it great for winter time. The added warmth makes it sweet but sensual and sophisticated as well.
Dior Hypnotic Poison
Dior Hypnotic Poison lives up to its title by being an exotic sweet scent, flush with almond, vanilla, coconut and white floral notes that truly make me feel induced into a romantic dream. It’s an extremely powerful, sugary scent and is quite heady in the first few minutes. I think this is perfect for an evening out in autumn or winter and for those who love an intense fragrance which everyone will notice.
